omg an injury in boxing? no fggn way! i did notice that he got rocked but wasnt on ***** street and went down real awkwardly but thats the game. also wanna add red clearly won that fight. u can say that he only landed like 3-4 punches a round n its true but that had as much to do with trout box from outside fight plan which is the same fiight plan that got trout the close but clear points win over cotto. red deserves his shot at the big time, i would still pick floyd over red but make red at least even money against the other names at or around 154, well no i mean up to 154. he's not a middleweight yet

That was a difficult interview, as the guy was mostly non-commital. That said, he did make a great point about the crowd and it's influence.

During the fight, I kept wondering: Am I in an episode of the Twilight Zone or something, why are these announcers praising Canelo so much when he's being outworked and mostly just punchng in spurts?

Now I get it. With thousands of fans getting excited every time Canelo even blew his nose, of course it seemed as if he was in perfect control of the fight.

In reality, however, if Canelo had been in perfect control of the fight, he would have pursued a knock out, as he clearly had more punching power and the ability to hurt Trout.

Canelo didn't do that, however, because he himself knew that it was an unnecessary risk, and that things would go his way with the crowd and the scoring regardless of how the fight was going.

All Canelo had to do to win this fight was show up and not get knocked out.

I don't think he dominated either, but I do think he won the fight.

I had Canelo winning by 2 points.
Lol nothing wrong with that. I just seen it as a trout win
