    My understanding is that Trout injured his ankle during the KD, and only noticed the extent of the damage after the fight. Good for him that he was able to continue. These types of awkward KDs are funny to watch, but they must be painful. I guess this will be the reason if he doesn't return to the ring soon.

              some people believe whatever they hear. if you can get away with it, it's good for business. your stock goes down less.


              it's probably the handlers who tell fighters to make up injuries. i doubt very much that trout would mention an injury if he weren't injured. that just doesn't sound like his style.
