You're not alone on the a$$ of yourself statement bud. Hell I'm riding ******* there.

But IMO Trout came in with 1 gameplan and could not adjust to what Canelo was doing. He should have led with more left hands and worked Canelo's body.

**** No Doubt....this dude did nothing last night. He must be real naive to think that he would've won a decision, and he didn't even do enough to state his claim. I knew that all of his "unsure" talk leading up to the fight in the past 2 weeks, let's you know that he wasn't gonna do much.

How could you let this stationary redhead control the pace of this fight? You're supposed to be the "boxer", right? Riiiiight....

Still amazes me how people make a case for Trout winning more than 4 rounds.

He is a class act, but he seemed to seriously lack conviction in that fight.

When going forwards his jabs were missing and follow up punches hardly ever lunging or going for it, or with any pop.

When Canelo let his hands go for 5 seconds he made more of an offensive impression than Trout did pitty patting for 30 seconds.

Oddly enough despite seeming cautious of his speed, it was post the knockdown and knowing how far down he was, he showed a bit of conviction to his offence.

My biggest thing about Trout in this fight is that he was throwing the jab a little too much without using it to set up combinations. He was just throwing it to keep Canelo at distance and it was getting predictable because he would rarely throw anything behind the jab.

Sure, he showed a lot of heart getting up and not getting stopped, but I think that had more to do with Canelo being gassed. Trout didn't show much ambition. What the heck happened? Why did he look so terrible?
Trout's best win was against a fat, slow faded Cotto who despite what everyone says, best weight is 147 and not 154. Cotto has no power at 154 and trout handled him easily and gave him some back. Trout has pretty average or just below power so Canelo just laughed at his shots.

nah man, trout was too stationary and he kept backing into the ropes instead of keeping the fight in the middle of the ring.
