i think after the kd he never fully recovered
and canelo kept him in this limbo state for the rest of the fight by continuesly hurting numerous times in the fight

This right here, Canelo basically gave Trout a taste of his own medicine being slicker,, superb defense and landing the cleaner crisper punches.

Trout seemed terrified of Canelos punch. The fact that he never even tried to hit him when Canelo had his hands down and just moved his head back and forth was telling. Canelo fought 30 seconds of every round but still had Trout scared for what might come back for the full three.

And so it continues...certain fans talking down Canelo's win by denigrating his opponent.

Both fighters were good and fought out a close match.

Canelo was just way too much for him.

Trout was scared of Canelo, he felt the power since round 1 and decided to jab him and try to win a decision, wasnt going to happen.

You cant win a fight on a jab alone and sure as hell not going to win on that pitty pat jab and defiantly he sealed his own faith when he got KD and the most he threw was a weak 1-2 to try and keep canelo off and then next rounds he came back to his jab only.

I thought he looked good considering the adversity to the knockdown.

Trout looked fine to me. I had him winning.

He looked better against Cotto because Cotto has no right hand. Canelo won the fight based on that alone. Trout definitely looks vulnerable to that punch.
