Both guys are top fighters. They both neutralized most of the others offense. wth were people expecting?

He was consistent... He was persistent... he carried himself like a true champion, even in defeat. Don't undermine Trout because he lost phaggots, he's still a fantastic boxer. The Mexican squeezed out a close UD on my card, but that was due mostly to inactivity. I actually thought Canelo missed several windows to blow him out. The fight was an indicator of Canelo's untapped potential, he will only get better at 22. I've said it many times before... good things come with time, give the kid a chance to grow.

Sure, he showed a lot of heart getting up and not getting stopped, but I think that had more to do with Canelo being gassed. Trout didn't show much ambition. What the heck happened? Why did he look so terrible?

Oh my god you mother***ers are just ******! The thread starter openly admits that he's a complete ****ing hypocrite who thought Trout was gonna win and instead of admit that he was wrong and give Canelo his credit what does he do? "Oh Trout isn't as good as I thought he was" lol! What a bunch of lame s hit! Not only does the thread starter try to save face but he also still wants to make excuses that Canelo is still overrated. *** off this thread is garbage and an exact example of lame ass boxing fans!

He got dropped and humbled. He never even tried to get back into the fight. Just flicked a weak jab and missed all night. Trout knew this and admitted he lost like a man. He won 3 rounds at best.

Canelo made him look bad. Trout would throw his combos and would miss the target because Canelo was moving his head and blocking everything that Trout threw at him. Canelo boxed his ass off and beat Trout at his own game. We had back to back fights where Rigondeaux and Canelo fought smart and got the W. With hitting their opponents and not getting hit back in return.

Trout looked so bad against Canelo for the same reason Delvin Rodriguez looked so bad against Trout.

                    He got outboxed.
