Regarding the weight, if you go up in weight than fight when guys are calling you out. Floyd himself has fought a "lightweight" at welterweight so lets stop crying about weight (he's fighting another lightweight in Guerrero).

If Floyd wants to be considered a LMW champion, then there is **** all wrong with fighting a LMW. If you can Make the weight, you are a LMW...simple.

The simple fact is that canelo is not very good and the only reason most think he's a challenge for Floyd is Floyd has lost a step and Alvarez will outweigh him by 20lbs. If the two were the same size, this would be another cherry pick. I hope Floyd does fight him honestly. At the end of the day, the point remains the same tho. The only reason canelo even gets rated in this fight is because of his size and his age advantage. Of that's how ppl want Floyd to lose, then that says a lot.

Vargas still holds the jr. middleweight record.

His skill alone would most likely handle Canelo but I would not bet money on Floyd winning either fight, and that doesn't take anything away from Floyd as a fighter
Some people are going to say he shouldn't have fought at 154 twice if he weren't willing to take the division seriously and I agree 100%, he shouldn't expect the fans and media to not criticize him for avoiding certain fights @154 since he fought there twice
But weight classes do matter, both Trout and Canelo are middleweights masquerading as JMW, let's stop pretending otherwise
YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!!!
Once Floyd and his fans see risk, they begin to bring up excuses but when names such as Marquez who went up ~3 divisions, that was a good fight because Marquez was #2 P4P.
Well, Floyd has been #1 P4P for a while, his last fight was at 154 and Floyd said he wants to see his opponents come in at a comfortable weight ..... so no excuses!!!
