Do some fighters willingly fight on the inside? Or is it only because they have to?

The times Pacquiao has been challenged on the inside - usually once he's slowed down a little and needs to take a rest - he always shells up and offers little to nothing in terms of offense.
That is the thing even if it is a weakness, it is not exactly the easiest weakness to get at. It is a process and if a guy is committed to not letting you get there, it will take a good portion of the fight just to set that up.

I think that was why it was a more prevalent style in 15 rounders, because those extra rounds gave you the time to make it work. It is tough to give away roughly half a fight and win it in the end.

Even now being able to fight inside is very useful but in this environment I think it would be tricky to solely rely on that, unless the guy is just a monster at it.

Pacquiao was and still is a monster at demolishing his opponents. If not demolish, then make them run for their lives.

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

Fighter's do not willingly chose to fight on the inside. Inside fighting is only something you do when you have to or are forced to.

Take Bernard Hopkins, for example. Is he a fighter who never willingly fought on the inside? Or did he fight there solely because he had no choice?

What do you think? Do some fighter's chose to fight on the inside?
Fighter chose to fight on the inside is. Some or inside fighter and some are not. Some do both and of course there is many times when fighters have to fight on the inside just like when they are forced to fight on the outside.

That is not exactly why you're saying

You're saying that "boxers don't fight on the inside unless they have to"

And "boxers aren't inside fighters, only Castillo, Corrales, Rios etc are inside fighters"

              It's all there to see.

That's not what that poster is saying at all.

But, that is what he said. Can you not see the quote?

He said "I don't know anything about boxing" because I sad Pernell Whitaker willingly fought on the inside.

I didn't start any insults, I said Whitaker fought on the inside willingly and that was considered a statement for wrong that I don't know anything about boxing.

Then followed by "boxers don't fight on be inside" not certain boxers, boxers in general or not "Castillo or Rios style fighters"

                      It's all there to see.

I was curious to see if I was the only none who didn't know about boxing.
