Do some fighters willingly fight on the inside? Or is it only because they have to?

I am very well aware of that. I've watched enough boxing to figure this out.
My point is, he took one statement I made, and blew it up so we would be off topic, because me and another poster were educating him on why Rigo is so good at keeping the fight at distance.
IrondanHamza is a a very petty/sad individual.Comment

Someone else asked me the same exact thing threw a PM. No, I'm not Timmy Horton. My real name is Tim, so I went with this name.
This was my AIM username, back when AIM was still popular.Comment

As far as the above bolded: That's interesting, considering I have seen you mentioned quite frequently as one of the most knowledgable posters on this site.I'm curious, because I believe that some fighter's chose to fight on the inside, I apparently don't know anything about Boxing.
According to Tim2daresq in this thread;
Fighter's do not willingly chose to fight on the inside. Inside fighting is only something you do when you have to or are forced to.
Take Bernard Hopkins, for example. Is he a fighter who never willingly fought on the inside? Or did he fight there solely because he had no choice?
What do you think? Do some fighter's chose to fight on the inside?
As to your point... I think boxers CHOOSE pretty much every aspect of their game. It's no different then fighters who CHOOSE to target the body as opposed to those who primarily head hunt, or fighters who CHOOSE to box instead of brawl. That's why they say every boxer has their own style.
BTW, whoever said or insinuated that you know nothing about boxing apparently knows nothing of it themselves.Comment

This is NSB. I know FLowmos were watching us go back and forth, and as soon as you started this thread, this were their chance to ride the wave of Flowmos.
"Nows our chance! He's been breaking Rigo and FLoyd down to the tee, and now we got em!"
LMAO, ya'll some butt hurt drama queens.Comment

andre ward is a great example of a boxer who fights on the inside because he wants to not because his opponents make himHow about Andre Ward? Do you think he only fights on the inside because he has to?
Does he fight on the inside? You know, like ACTUAL inside fighters - Castillo, Corrales and Rios.
Or, is he merely forced to?
When he fought Abraham, and said after the fight "I wanted to take it to the inside but the ref wouldn't let me so I just boxed him" was he lying? He must have been.
How about against Froch, the success he had on the outside was the reason he went onto the inside.
No way he could have willingly chosen to do that.Comment
