Donaire's style is not so attractive to casual fans either. Reason why he's not a PPV star. At least he's trying.

It's impossible to make a fight with an opponent hell bent on just surviving. The highlights of the fight are the running and the entertaining part was Donaire's KD of his opponent.

Arum is right...can't forget also that the man is CUBAN as well, that is a tough sale in America, you see how big of a deal they made Jay Z and Beyonce TRIP to CUBA which tells you that Main Stream America/Media still has a Problem with CUBA

But regardless if Rigondeaux doesn't become a Big Draw, he is going to make plenty of money so I wouldn't worry about Rigo's finances, being a draw and ticket sales and all that ****, he will make more in one fight then most of us will COMBINED in ONE YEAR! You don't have to be a "SUPERSTAR" in boxing to make good money, he just made $700K and will probably fight a few more times this year

Of Course Arum Wanted Donaire To Win! Because Donaire is much easier to promote!

Bottom line simply is don't expect to see hundreds of people flocking to see a boxer with a boring style. There are all kinds of styles in boxing. That doesn't mean one is more valid than the other. Some are more attractive to fans than the other. Some add their mouths to the style they have to attract fans.

People invest money to produce entertainment to as many people as possible to make money. That's really the main point.

I'm not saying arum could turn him into a PPV star, not many fighters at 122-126 are EVER ppv stars, not even Naseem Hamed until later. But he doesn't need to be a right cvnt about this just because he think he no longer has "the future Manny" in Nonito. Manny lost when he was red hot too, let's not forget.
