Nonito's last couple fights have had some boos too. It's not Guillermo's fault Nonito can't set up an attack on his own. He needs a flat footed hands down slugger like Darchinyan to look P4P against.

I agree with you. Arum is a great promoter but maybe at 81 he is losing his touch. He should have praised Rigo to the sky instead of calling Rigo dull and saying the fight was very close when it was not close at all.

Arum is mad because his Filipino cash cows have been slaughter. Rigo is a exciting fighter he KO's a lot of fighters, it so happens that he fought a P4P fighter in his 12th fight and took his ass to school. People on here tend to forget about how Rigo has no chin, Rigo is going to get destroyed, Nonito won the staredown, Donaire is a experience pro....... all that **** got thrown out the window once Rigo showed how easy it was to beat the Bruce lee wearing trunks Donaire l

All he cares about is fighters with big fan bases, because it's more money to be made. He seems disgusted at Rigondeaux winning and has done nothing but give him back-handed compliments. I'm not sure if Rigondeaux and his team notice this, but if they do, the best thing to do is to go to GBP when the contract is up, if ends soon. Noting would bother Arum more than beating one of his million dollar fighters and then moving to GBP. With all that trash he's been talking about GR, he would deserve that.

I don't know why people are so obsessed with fights like Bradley-Provodnikov and Alvarado-Rios. Like for Rigondeaux's past 11 fights he's been this exciting, Gatti-like fighter right? You know how he fights, so don't watch him fight. Don't watch Hopkins, don't watch Mayweather, don't watch Wlad, don't watch Ward, don't watch Rigondeaux. You know what you are getting, so don't watch it. "Well i'm tuning in cause i'm a true boxing fan", Yeah you're a true boxing fan, of a certain type of fight, cause you are complaining of a masterful boxing lesson; you are obviously not a full fan of all boxing styles. Okay complain about Hopkins-Jones II, Pacquiao-Clottey, Pacquiao-Mosley, Marquez-Diaz II, Mayweather-Baldomir; there's fights that actually warrant complaints like those. But I saw nothing wrong with Rigondeaux-Donaire, nothing. And then people who don't like it, wanna sit there and bash the people who did enjoy the fight.

That's what I'm trying to get at here but you've said it better. Arum has exciting fighters in his stable, Nonito, IMO is only exciting against a certain style. He's certainly not Juan Manuel in terms of countering since Juan is great at leading when he needs to. What is so bad about Arum needing to put a little more work in to promoting maybe 1 of the top 3 talents in boxing right now?

Arum already has his face first sluggers that pretty much sell themselves. Didn't Bob say something about wanting to promote Tim better a few years ago, and he's done pretty much nothing with him.......hes barely tried.

just cause you watch every fight doesnt make you a true fan or vice versa.

thats like saying I'm a true basketball fan but I only like watching my favorite teams play. If you enjoyed the fight good for you.

ppl want to be entertain. Rigo is not selling out those seats anytime soon. His style or that fight to some ppl was boring, which is why fans were boo'ing.
