When are you going to learn that you cant negotiate when one side(Pac's) is less than willing? Floyd made more concessions moving more than to the middle for Pac and he still walked away.

How so? Started out with even split, went down to flat fee. Started out with 14 days testing cutoff, in 3 months 7 was not enough.

Not that it means much. But he did headline that PPV last April I believe it was. It had Rios vs Abril on the undercard. I believe JMM's opponent was Senchenko in a stay busy fight.

Also JMM vs Juan Diaz II was a PPV fight he headlined.

Most of you don't understand the way PPV and the business of boxing works.

As fans you think that because JMM won, that he now deserves 50/50 or even a higher cut.

In reality, when making a fight like this, you take the star power of BOTH fighters and what they bring to the table in terms of money.

Pac is without a doubt a bigger star than JMM, there's no dis*****g that. He's a world wide icon in the sport and has been making huge paydays for along time.

I think 50/50 is fair but I can understand when Roach says that it isn't fair because Manny is going to bring the bulk of the viewership.

It may not be something fans like or even understand but it's the way it is.

Marquez is doing the right thing, hes in the strong position, if he fights pacman agains hes gonna get a ton of cash if he dosnt he is gonna look better in his legacy long term.

Marquez knows he is more likely to loose next time so it has to be worth the risk for him, smart plan, its not what abouts fair.

Pacman and roach have to decide whats more important legacy or money. I think they are in a weak position, Manny needs to redeem himslef with Marquez then Bradly then try to get a shot with mayweather caving into most of his unfair demands just so it can happen.

Then retire or rake in as much money as possible then retire.
