I'm not opposed to that but again, that's not good business sense. I think JMM is going to fight Pac again, that's the only fight out there for him IMO.

He could fight Bradley, Rios or even Alvarado but he won't make the money he would with Pac. At 39 years old, this is most likely his last fight and he understands that by him beating Pac, he guaranteed himself a nice retirement payday.

He could take the other fights, but it would be for less. He takes the Pac fight, and even though he might not be making more than Pac, it still would be his highest payday to date.

Follow up question for you Cuahtemoc:
How much do you feel Marquez deserves if he indeed does come around to the 5th fight?
How much more money from fight 4 is he now entitled to, or is he not at all entitled to a $$ boost in your opinion

Did you know these Floyd opponents (Oscar, Hatton, Mosley, Cotto) made him for what he is right now and are the main components of his legacy?

Did you know that DLH and Mosley fought each other and didn't bring in the numbers like when they fought Mayweather?

Did you know that when Mayweather fought them they were all coming from BIG wins and where mentally ok? when Pac fought them they were coming of losses and or looked bad or didn't even have a coach and had to loose more weight and were mentally defeated?

How many did Manny and Bradley do. I think Marquez has been in about three one milion PPV two with manny and one with Floyd. I dont think its Marquez begging for a rematch this time. I also dont think Marquez was the one who got knocked out. Manny has to give a itte to get this fight and giving the man six while you get 23 or better to go to sleep half way through is the wrong answer. I agree with Marquez 50/50 or no fight. I can retire and be satisfied with the results of the four fights but you will always be remembered as the guy who got knocked out in our last fight. Stop thinking you hold all the cards Manny and sign on the dotted line. 50/50.

Marquez-Pacquiao II sold 400k
Marquez-Mayweather 1.1Mill
Marquez-Pacquiao III and IV probably sold a little over 2Mill combined, or just about that #.

Marquez is a good PPV candidate, but like every big fight, there needs to be another popular name to sell. For example Marquez-Cotto, or Marquez-Hatton would do decent #'s, Marquez-Broner would be decent as well. None of those are exactly giant PPV stars by themselves, but with Marquez they would be.

Mayweather and Pacquiao didn't start selling in the million range until they fought Oscar. I'm sure if Marquez would have fought Oscar, with his already 200-400k PPV fights, he would have also gotten that boost. Not everyone gets that DLH boost though, it takes some one who can already sell and has established a good sized fanbase. For example, Hopkins failed to get that boost.

my point still stands. floyd and manny are the only legit ppv stars in the game and no fighter other than those two deserve equal footing with either guy.

floyd and manny made multiple million plus ppvs without marquez and oscar while marquez was a complete failure on his own. i dont know now that he finally got pac, maybe he has increased his ppv stature, we wont know until he headlines a ppv without pac.

i wouldnt be against a 50-50 split, i think that's more than fair and i wouldnt be mad at team pacquiao if they dont think marquez deserves equal pay as pacquiao.

Manny is the one desperate for redemption and in all 4 fights there was only 1 clear win and Juan holds that win.So 50-50 is beyond fair to be brutally honest Juan's deserves the lion share because he can just walk away and be immortalized.
