Haha. For the record, I never disagreed with this assessment Tenma. You were right on, and your posts always reflect as much. Donaire had a sweet run in 2012. I only frown upon those blowhards who were so quick to chug down Nonito's diarrhea water. The mark of a true champion lies in how they pick themselves back up and in Miguel's case, solidify their greater status. As of this moment, Cotto's foundation of work surpasses Donaire's in my humble opinion.

Good bump, I didn't realize it was an old thread until a few posts in. Donaire better than Cotto anyone saying that even 3 years ago is sorely mistaken. Donaire is incredibly one dimensional, Cotto is far, far more versatile. Cotto looked better in his worst loss against Margs, than Nonito did against Rigo and Cotto was up against a guy with loaded gloves.

I also think it's safe to say Cotto has more than earned a seat in the Hall of Fame. There's no denying Donaire's game changing power, it must be said however, that the 5 division champ has probably seen his best days gone by. Not a knock on him. Donaire was special... maybe not ATG but a conqueror all the same.
