donaire is much more accomplished. his resume is really underrated. from 112-122 he beat a bunch of guys ranked 1-3. if he beats rigo he should be p4p #1. sorry floyd beating guerrero isn't enough to keep your spot. the spot you never should have had in the first place. beating gatti to become #1......hmmm

Donaire easily hands down, I dont see donaire taking a knee and quitting without a single punch being landed, check out my sig for proof.

Donaire has the natural atheletic ability that we've only seen in fighters like Roy Jones

He can pounce from a great distance and land thunderous punches

Miguel Cotto is far more static but a solid fighter,just not quite the talent Donaire is(saying that if they were both the same weight and they fought I could see Cotto waiting for a pounce from donaire to try and exchange punches,he wouldn't be totally outclassed imo)
Donaire also has an amazingly underestimated resume

Two completely different fighters, don't see how one could compare one to the other. Donaire struggled to do what Cotto would have easily done, which was cut off the ring against Mathebula and Narvaez, Miguel is obviously the better pressure fighter, infighter, body puncher, cuts off the ring a lot better as well. Donaire is the better counter puncher, more devastating puncher P4P, and has better stamina.

Except, I'm hesitant to call Donaire a better counterpuncher.

Donaire is just a bigger puncher P4P and has after hands so he's more explosive with his counters...but he's one dimensional with them.

Cotto has always been a very underrated counterpuncher IMO.

When I read it that's the first thing that came to mind as well, dead serious, Cotto is the better counter puncher as well. Both don't have many dimensions when countering but I think I've seen Donaire fail miserably far too many times to rate him higher than Cotto, especially now.
