Donaire and Cotto

Two completely different fighters, don't see how one could compare one to the other. Donaire struggled to do what Cotto would have easily done, which was cut off the ring against Mathebula and Narvaez, Miguel is obviously the better pressure fighter, infighter, body puncher, cuts off the ring a lot better as well. Donaire is the better counter puncher, more devastating puncher P4P, and has better stamina.Comment

I see one question asking who's better, and the poll being about who's greater, in that case Donaire is greater.Comment

Dude. why the hate? you would never understand what it takes to be a fighter! you don't respect the sport man. unfortunately!! it takes a different kinda cojonos to climb up on that ring and **** it out with a rival for 12Rds.
these men train countless hours at the gym, miss out on family time with there loved ones and have to be on strict diets. it's a hardknock life man, but yet these fighters do what they gotta do to feed there family, and not to mention give there fans a good fight. Boxers deserve all the respect in the world regardless of their ethnic origin. it's a crude sport man. please have some decency.Comment

Donaire is much much more talented than Cotto, and is fairly similar resume wise right now.
Cotto's beaten Paulie, Torres, Quintana, Judah, Mosley, Clottey, Foreman, and Margarito.
Donaire's beaten Darchinyan, Mthalane, H. Marquez, Montiel, Mathebula, and Nishioka.
I think when it's all said and done, both will be in the Hall of Fame, though I think Donaire will be a 100% hall of fame fighter, while Cotto to me is borderline. I think Donaire could be an ATG.Comment
