Do you guys think it's not fair to say Chavez' power has gotten better since Zbik? Seems like some you guys are brushing off the Martinez KD simply because you think people are trying to hype up Chavez as a Martinez win. I mean, the alternative is that Martinez, an elite fighter who hasn't seriously been hurt/dropped since 2003, is actually chinier than Zbik, who got got hurt by Sturm's jab. Do you believe that? What ever happened to the "What have you done for me recently?"

Nah bro, Im not going all over there, saying he won rounds or ANYTHING like that. Im just saying, that when he was confident and boxing, using defense, countering, he was doing excellent. If that was Martinez, I would smell a stoppage on the horizon!!

Well despite being labeled as a "bum" by BSceners, Gabriel clearly has serious skill. His footwork was ridiculously good, and he was indeed able to make GGG miss and pay a few times throughout the fight. However, he was clearly being beaten down by the better man throughout the entire fight, and that means he wasn't outboxing ****, he was just using his skill to slow down the inevitable beatdown before his face finally caved in. Golovkin's amateur career alone makes him a more qualified opponent for Martinez than most anyone in the division, and whether or not he beats Martinez, he's much more deserving of the opportunity than Chavez (who is not nearly as good a pressure fighter Golovkin is).

people get confused when a guy is getting beat so bad, that he actually starts to do a little better, and they think it's better than it really is. its just less worse

Yea he outboxed the shiet out of GGG in some of those rounds. GGG cant deal with slickness, and Martinez is not a bum like Rosado. Quick stoppage is what I forsee.

Rosado has a more fundamentally sound defense than Martinez. He doesn't lean away from shots with his hands by his waist.

After Zbik he didnt do anything to Rubio but he did KO lee. Lee has a soft chin and that wasnt a surprise, just look at what feather fisted Mcewan did to him a couple months before. He caught Sergio with a big punch he didnt see, it happens. Hyping up that KD is the ridiculous part after he monster power and size did nothing in the 11.5 rounds before

Chavez only started improving and becoming a monster until after the rubio fight? He only had 1 fight after rubio How convient, this guy that you say is too big for anybody started being too big and monsterous only a couple months before the sergio fight. And most expected him to stop soft chinned lee. How is it outboxing of the other guy is punching you face in and hurting you while easily winning the round. Did Narvaez outbox Donaire? He was landing counters too

Yea, and while he was improving, and looking like a big ass beast, Martinez was seeming as if he was aging, and going on the downside. And no one expected Chavez to stop Lee. Most said, Lee would win. Martinez walked that big joker down too. And dared to fight on the inside. I dont see nobody beating Martinez at mw! Sorry.

How is that outboxing? "He outboxed Golovkin for 10 seconds after he landed a counter moved away". Thats not outboxing. Otherwise Barker and Macklin outboxed the **** out of Sergio all night long

So you guys are hyped because he beat Ishida? There's no way this guy beats Martinez. Martinez is gonna run circles around him, pop him with his jab, and counter him to death. By the 8th round GGG will be completely disfigured and gassing out while Martinez hits his second wind and stops him anywhere from round 9 through 12.

Watch how Golovkin gasses late in the fight, the same thing happened when he fought Rosado where he started to gas from the fifth round on.
