I agree. GGG being untested, and unskilled, will walk into Chavez' punches. Chavez is too big for anyone at that weight to hurt him. We have to remember, GGG is an untested guy knocking out bums. He probably wont have the power for a real elite fighter. Martinez is an elite champion with TREMENDOUS power, and he couldnt even phase Chavez. So its NO WAY GGG will be affective with that style. Chavez will stop him in the 3rd round. Martinez is my favorite, but I think Chavez will stop him in the rematch, due to him being too big for Martinez. In the first fight, he realized that Martinez couldnt hurt him, so he baited Martinez into landing counters, and hitting him while eating a shot. In the rematch, he will do the same thing, only earlier.

You dont know **** about Golovkin. Golovkin was never knocked down as an amateur or pro and he has well over 200 amateur-fights. Hes a massive puncher but he has skills too. Hes not as fast as Martinez but he has skills. I see GGG knocking Martinez out. One thing is for sure, GGG is much better than Chavez Jr.

Golovkin has more power than Arthur Abraham! Plus he has much better skills to go with it. This guy will wreck anyone at middleweight including Martinez.
I dont get it how anyone could be a Golovkin-hater.

I don't know, GGG is a solid puncher and Sergio got rocked against Chavez (albeit, a rumored 185-190 pound Chavez which he got careless with).. That jab of Golovkin would definitely cause Sergio some problems if he doesn't adjust. But, I see Sergio's footwork and head movement getting him past the early rounds and his counter-punching taking over in the later rounds, assuming GGG really does gas out in the later rounds like an earlier poster mentioned.. I wouldn't wanna bet money on this fight though.

Why would Martinez duck GGG? GGG is a decent fighter, but he is too slow, and has not even faced an elite fighter yet. Its one thing when your untested knocking out bums. But the moment you step up to the elite, you have a glass jaw, and they walk through your punches. I think Quillin can beat GGG. Even Macklin could. Martinez will break GGG's face, and the speed difference would be phenomenal. Mismatch anytime you put a slick fighter in the ring with a come forward slow fighter with no headmovement.

I never said Martinez would not beat GGG or GGG would beat Martinez all i said was i would be very surprised if team Martinez would go in with a big puncher for x amount of money when they could go against chavez jr for an XXXX amount of money, one is a guy who has a lot hype about him and another is a guy who you smacked around for 11 rounds??? come on man you know boxing as well as i do

What does he have to do, with Martinez ducking an untested fighter, when his promoter just clearly stated that they might be interested in the fight? Its one thing when u call Floyd a ducker. He proved that he was scary. But people call guys like Martinez(Champion) a ducker, and even accused Danny Garcia of ducking Lucas, when he has NEVER shown the traits of a scary fighter like Floyd. At least give these guys a chance to PROVE that they are scary.

You just bragged about him fighting him twice. But now all of a sudden, your basically admitting that it was another one of his trickeries. And Forced trickeries. 24 pages later...it's clear that MW is a hot division with all this discourse. I have my fingers crossed that Golovkin/Geale happens in June and then by last quarter of the year, all the relevant names will be open to fight each other. GGG/Geale vs. Martinez/Murray, Chavez/Barker vs. Macklin. Quillin will probably wind up fighting Rubio after Guerrero, so he'll be left outta the loop.

I dont care about what he did in the Ams, this is the pros. I dont care about him not being knocked down as a pro, because he hasnt even been tested against elite pros. He might get knocked out easily by ANY elite pro. He IS a massive puncher, for an untested fighter. Once he steps up, elite fighters may not even feel his power. NO one is knocking out Martinez. He is tested. He already been knocked down, got dropped by a cruiserweight, and got up solid. I predict a fast stoppage at the hands of Martinez, if this fight is made.
