Its easier to eat crap after you work out then sitting down and eatting chicken, steak, fruit and vegetables all the time.
But he's eating more healthy stuff now (at least that what he says, and he's lost quite a bit of weight for a fact). Hiring a good nutritionist would probably do him well too. He's a fighter that needs to stay active, above all, not to fall back and be a lazy fat ass.

Heavyweights in particular have carte blanche to turn up in whatever condition they like. ****ing disgusts me to see so-called professional athletes turn up with rolls of fat hanging over their shorts.

I agree for the most part part...but in the heavy weights they shud have a division called super...nd not the division they had for butterbean...u can't b competitive fighting someone that's in shape 6'9.. nd 300 plus pounds if ur 6'2 230 pounds ...these champs are giants...nd in a way I don't blame arreola...so I think they shud have junior heavy weights and super heavy weight ...and giving fighters a real fair shake in there natural classes

Its disgraceful, shows a lack of respect to themselves and to everyone investing time and money into them. These fools need to realise that they don't have a long window to earn a lot of money and to make an impact. That window is short, ESPECIALLY when you treat your body like crap with poor nutrition. Eating correctly, training correctly will lengthen your career considerably. If they could afford to hire a PROPER nutritionist like Mike Dolce, watch how much better these fighters would be. A lot of them could potentially even drop weight classes, though its doubtful the heavyweights would do it since there is not really any money at cruiserweight. If I was on prime TV, with thousands watching me and I came in fat I would be VERY disappointed. Hell, if I even had to do it for charity and for like a thousand bucks, I still would not come in fat.

Yes but my point is that just because a guy isn't built like Vitali, doesn't mean he isn't working hard. Genetics is real, it's not some made up thing. There are people who eat what they want, drink what they want and have a six pack.

My nephew and brother are like that, they are naturally skinny and toned. I wasn't blessed with that, I have to work hard for my physique.

I agree on Arreola but I brought up guys like Juan Diaz because his work ethic is legendary but he looks out of shape if you look at his body and he's not.

                    It's pathetic.

Admittedly bodybuilding is part of what I do for a living, but I just don't know how any athlete can feel comfortable being a fat b@stard. It's bad enough being that fat at any point, but showing up on fight night looking that way is flat out pathetic.
