    Exactly

    It's funny.

Then I hear "Pacquaio never wins fantasy fights" yet wins a whole lot himself.

Estaban DeJesus was a good fighter and HOF calibur but Floyd Mayweather is completely an utterly superior to him and that's not even almost arguable.

To answer the question, I wouldn't pick Mayweather to beat Duran that night.

Truth be told, there isn't many I'd pick that night.

I don't see Mayweather getting stopped though.

Me neither Floyd is tougher than people think Duran wouldn't stop him.

Is this some kind of a sick joke???? The Duran that fought Barkley, Leonard 1, Davy Moore, was MOTIVATED and a fire burned in him. Everyone who has ever followed Duran's career knows he was not at all motivated for the Kirkland fight. That fight made him realize he had to be in top form going forward.

does that factor into your picture?
I saw that Estaban De Jesus fight, and from that 1st rd KD he boxed brilliantly. Duran wasn't trained properly, but made up for it the next couple of times, even though the second fight was also a war where he was kD. I think I have them all on tape somewhere. taken from replays.

Apart from your Mayweather love-fest, let's be reasonable. De Jesus was a better fighter than Mayweather. People today don't know anything about him so your mentioning him is unfair.

As for the answer to the question "how would he do against the Duran who fought Leonard.."

Well, he'd do a nice funeral, and the caterers would do a lovely wake feast afterwards.

Floyd makes durable eat Sharp counters all night nd wins by decision...he's to cautious...aka punk...to get lured into a slugfest...nd Leonard overwelms him and possibly kos him late or wins a workman like decision

It could go either way but I would give the Floyd that fought Hatton a slight edge. Leonard went toe to toe with Duran and it cost him a close points loss. I think Floyd would be smart enough to use his defense, boxing and counter punching skills to win a very close decision over Duran. Maybe Duran's combination of power, pressure and work rate would be more than Floyd could handle but I make Floyd a slight favorite.
