You can't force him into brawling! He controls the distance perfectly. (of course I talk about experienced, prime Wlad).
If he met someone with the swagger of a champion like Holyfield, it might have been different.

Friendly advice - don't take him to seriously when it comes to boxing

is that why you like Haye? his swagger and his pout? lolololol

much as i dislike Holy, his swagger was The Real Deal. Haye's is an empty strut, befitting more of a catwalk than a ringwalk.

Other than Holyfield, who had a better career at CW? Unifying the titles in 20 fights or so, with a KO ratio of more than 90%. Seems pretty stellar to me.

I haven't "admitted" he's a fraud. I'm just realistic with regards to his chances in an era like the 90's. In today's climate, he's a much better fighter and outside the two brothers, I don't see anyone he couldn't beat.

Well, when you put gloves on you have the right to say something like that. If you met him face to face, you would crumble into the little shell you belong in.

Someone want to remind me who David Haye really beat at Cruiserweight that is considered a impressive win?
When is the last time David Haye fought in America?
                Ooh wait he's never....
Mentioning David Haye anywhere near Holyfield is disrespectful to a true champion, I'm sorry Holyfield you deserve better!!

division doesn't have a particularly rich history, to say the least. that doesn't mean we should acclaim Haye inordinately just because his is one of the better records of a fairly mediocre bunch. it's a pretty thin docket, if we're being honest, light on really creditable feats.

you said you agreed with the guy who labelled him a fraud, what are we to think?

Wlad has made me a fan of his by the way he conducts himself outside the ring. I'm not so keen on him as a fighter, I always preferred his brother more, but I will give Wlad the credit he deserves, he's pretty much assured ATG status for the his domination of a weak era, but it's still been total domination however you want to slice it. His brothers record doesnt hold a candle to Wlads.

Now on the subject of Wlad vs Lewis, whilst I might be a bit biased towards Lewis, even with that removed, I cant honestly put Wlad over Lewis.

Lewis was the last of the mohicans

on him getting destroyed when he stepped up against decent fighters, and thenupon waiting till they were shot2**** before facing them.

I wonder if you will choose to translate that to mean he waited for the same fighters to get shot2****??
