Well in terms of Cotto he's a easily worn down fighter through the rounds, Cotto isn't much better than Shane Mosley and the last time Cotto fought him it wasn't clear cut who won that.
      Delvin Rodriquez...
Although good come on no way is he better than Shane Mosley, I'll stand by that no matter what.

WHAT makes Austin Trout the best opponent Canelo has fought?
Judged on the level of opposition Trout has came against what gives you the right to say that?
Trout is on the same boat as Canelo but the huge difference is Alvarez is alot younger, Trout is what 27/28years old?
Biggest names on his record is only washed up Cotto and then Delvin Rodriquez, that's definitely not the most impressive record around.

Fighting a 40 year old Shane Mosley is more of a challenge than Cotto and Delvin.

shane was 0-2-1 going into that fight he was shot he was just a name a shell of what he was not the same guy that fought Cotto.

Delvin rodriquez at that point might have been better than shane because shane is shot and rodriquez is better the matt hatton and lopez guys coming up from 147 to fight Canelo

If the odds are for Canelo, then it's really like to lay some money down on Trout because I fully believe he'll win. I don't say that as a fan, just someone with common sense. Problem is, I don't have enough faith in boxing to think that there won't be a fix. There is too much interest in farming a new hero for the growing Mexican fan base and I have a hard time seeing Trout getting a decision (which is how he's going to win).

This poll shows Canelo is not really a hypejob. Or some clowns just simply want to have it both ways. This is embarrassing.

This is a pretty even fight, but I think the styles clash favors Trout. Canelo will probably be the betting favorite though.

Lara while very good has more to learn of the professional fight game. James is up and down(far better with Anne in his corner IMHO), Vanes is not as good as made out to be(see Kassim fight), and Molina is down right dirty, and a one trick pony.

Austin is the best fighter as of this point and time that Canelo could take on to show that he warrants the belt he totes.

I have not personally talked to a boxing fan who is picking Canelo. Everyone I've talked to thinks that Trout will win or at the very least that it's an even fight.

I give a lot of credit to Canelo for stepping up to fight Trout and will have nothing bad to say about him if he wins. The fact is that up until now his record has been a joke, fighting old guys and small guys. It's easy to look like a beast when you're beating up Josecito Lopez who has fought almost his entire career at jr. welterweight.
