But it will be a competive fight, who is the favourite isnt that important, but it wouuld be interesting to see.
I feel the same way. Trout had a nice size advantage against Cotto. But he hasn't fought any top 154 lb fighters. This fight being a toss up, is what makes it exciting. Cotto vs trout was closer then people think. I wonder how Trout handles getting hit like that by Canelo. And Canelo has been stunned by smaller fighters. Should be good.

I guess we'll finally see the ginger's chin checked by a guy who's bigger than him for a change. Lets see how well he handles a flush shot to the dome.

Canelo will get the nod, whatever Trout does.
I unlike you have faith that the absolute best man will have his hand raised, regardless of Boxing politics. I just as you, think that Austin is the better Boxer of the two. We will see come April 20th. The Trout camp has been quiet, and I like that. Its not like we havent seen a derailment in an young fighters career before. I think that there is enough hype and and push for Canelo to overcome a loss to Trout. GBP will simply fall back on the fact that the greats do have losses/blemishes on their records to include JCC Sr. Which will have fans overlook a loss should Canelo take one. It doesnt matter to me who wins as long as the true victor is named after the bout.

Canelo coming off of a Josesito win and Trout coming off of a win over Cotto are leauges apart in talent recently faced, thus I believe they can(and will)play a role in the outcome of this fight. In which I favor Trout, not to mention Trout is the superior Boxer IMHO.

Precisioned and very well timed may I not add. Trout has shown the ability to adjust mid fight. But I have not seen Canelo have to do such against ring savy opponents. Ring adjustments IMO are highly underrated. And decide the outcome of numerous bouts if you ask me.

Canelo is being built up to become the next great Mexican champion. So he's favored against Trout who'll prove to be a tough challenge.

                He's actually a substantial favorite.

If you disagree put your money where your mouth is. This is like buying apple stocks before the iphone came out.
                This is from Oddschecker:

Alvarez isn't really that much of a favorite honestly. It's probably more like a -175 to +150 fight but all the money from bets is likely going on Canelo driving the odds in Canelo's favor.

                Saul Alvarez (-225)

                Austin Trout (250)

                Draw (2500)

                Betus:

                Alvarez (-240)

                Trout (-190)

A wide favorite would be like a -600 or -800, a landslide favorite would be on the level of -2000 or -3000

I agree, and people forget how Gomez was getting at Alvarez(Trout is a much smarter fighter)..I think Alvarez has a very good shot to win,but I favor Trout..I also absolutely believe Trout can win a decision as well..

                    Too much good faith.

Either man could have been given the verdict, was a close one, but those cards tell you that Trout was never going to be able to win a decision in the Countdown mah homie. Fix was in. WBC and GBP were never going to let him lose a verdict and anyone who thinks otherwise now is delusional. C****lo is a mafia.

Looks like my good faith was well placed.

Only one judge was blind as a bat bruh. There were 3 very close rounds that I gave to Trout that very well could've went to Canelo. So 115-112 and 116-111 are viable scores, as I had the fight 114-113 for Canelo. No fix in the Countdown mah homie, just one sorry ass judge that didnt even matter.
