I give Trout all the credit in the world, but that fucking piddy pad jab was a joke. I can't believe people are resorting to that.

is that in a fantasy fight or a real one? If Floyd actually gets in the ring with him then he will probably school him because if he was an actual threat Floyd would be on vacation right around fight time as usual.

Officially, he's the champion at 154. He's The Ring champion.

Just beat #3 JMW. #2 vs #3 when the The Ring title is vacant is for The Ring title.

          So he's the 154 champion.

Canelo vs Lara would be a great tactical fight.

Canelo has clearly been working on his defense, but I feel like he's gonna turn into the type of fighter to rely on his power to get him out of tough situations. I think he needs to learn how to not fully commit on all his shots, cuz that seems to be the reason for his inactivity.

              400+ jabs thrown?

              Come on, are you serious.

              400 jabs!?

How are you going to win a fight with throwing more than 60% of your punches as jabs, and barely landing any significant power punch that catches any one's attention.

Are you going to conveniently resort to "Trout was busier", with this 400 jabs?

              Ridiculous.

On top of that he landed as many power shots and most of Canelo's was in the 10-8 knockdown round.

                  What power shots?

Power and Trout don't belong in the same sentence, unless you are saying "Trout has no power". Anything that is not a jab is a power punch. Maybe Trout needs to focus more on actually landing something significant rather than coming in to be a sparring partner for Canelo, with his 400 jabs.

Do you wonder why Canelo's elusiveness was so freaking good tonight? It actually wasn't, is that Trout kept throwing the same damn punch for 12 rounds, the jab. Canelo noticed this and it was easy for him to dodge it.

Old ass Mosley hit Canelo with much better punches than Trout. That is because Mosley actually threw different punches, not the same damn punch 400 times. You mix it up Canelo will not have such great elusiveness.

But Canelo also landed other clean, hard shots that shook Trout.

Trout was more active, but he was missing a lot, and he never even slightly stunned Canelo during the fight.

It was close. I had it 114-113 for Canelo with the knockdown being the difference.
