I didn't think the fight was close. I thought canelo controlled the whole fight but I saw the fight through a stream. There was only a few clean shots trout landed. It was obvious Canelo gassed though.

Canelo didn't even establish the jab, his lead hand and still managed to consistently drop bombs. For as many jabs as Trout threw, he never really set anything up with them. I'm impressed he was able to keep Canelo honest, his will to win was there but it's clear who was more dominant. Canelo still has a ton to learn, but at 22 he's well on his way. Get used to it.

Terrible cards. Trout didn't land effective punches. The official cards were putrid but I can't dispute the outcome at all. Canelo won a close fight no matter what the Texas screw job effect was.
