It wasn't close. Pointless trying to persuade me otherwise. I know what I seen.

Canelo didn't win that fight as far as I am concerned and neither was it a close. Trout whooped his ass.

The one thing I think we can all agree on is that Canelo is getting better and will continue to get better. Congratulations to him, despite my scorecard being a point in favor of Trout, I don't see how you can have it other than 6-6 (114-113) Canelo or 7-5 (114-113) trout.

i somewhat agree...Floyd is getting old and he's starting to show it. Need to see how he looks against Guerrero.

I respect Trout being humbled, that is the type of guy he is...but I still thought he won and my opinion won't change

Also knowing your up from basically doing nothing effects the way BOTH FIGHTERS FIGHT, Trout has to change his style while Canelo can just get to the cards and get the decision no matter what

Nothing against Canelo, it was a good fight but I thought he lost but again it is TEXAS, Trout knew the Deck Was Stacked Against Him Big Time!

That being said I said I seen improvement from Canelo, his head movement was impressive...BUT it is easier to defend when your not throwing punches back because you know all you have to do is get to the Cards to win

I did not see enough to determine if he is ready for Mayweather though, because your not getting no favorable decision against Mayweather IN VEGAS, that is just not happening so while on paper it looked like he Past His First Test...he also had a damn CHEAT SHEET during this first big test it was like the Principles helping a student pass his test lol

            Good Fight Regardless!

Well, he wasn't throwing. What else was he gonna do? Stand there and square up?

But yes, it was better than I thought.

Didn't score it, but those cards were way too damn wide. Canelo did prove to be a legit JMW, but Trout fought damn hard too. He deserved better.

I had Trout winning, but he in no way beat Canelo's ass. If anything Canelo got the better of exchanges.

I had it 116-111 Trout. I've no problem with Canelo getting the win though as I think a fight like that all depends on how you choose to score rounds.

I gave Trout most close rounds due to his higher workrate and good use of the jab, which Canelo didn't even attempt to match. A few power punches getting through each round wasn't enough to warrant cancelling out the other good two minutes of the round in Trout's favour.

As I said I've not problem with Canelo getting the decision. The 115-112 and 116-111 scorecards for Canelo, I can accept. The 118-109, however, is some high quality bulls**t from Christodoulou.

By the way, I'm not a fan, nor have any specific allegiance to either fighter. This is me purely calling it how I see it without any bias.
