Should David Haye get another Wlad shot?

If Haye returns this summer, he will have had just one single fight during a period of two years before a comeback (the Chisora fight July last year!). In other words, he's not active at all.

His no. 1 WBA spot is bogus. Plus Wladimir has already beat Haye. Haye simply doesn't deserve another shot without fighting himself back in the ring. And he hasn't done that just by beating Chisora almost a year ago, a guy who was coming off losses too.

No more bogus than any other orgs top fighter. Like I said, if you want to live by the orgs than you have ro die by them. Helenius has one fight in over a year against and of journeyman, how is he more deserving of his position? And if he fights this summer it will be 2 fights in 2 years, about the same as Helenius. So what is the difference? You will of course try to use Helenius' injury, but the fact remains he has been inactive and he has done nothing more than Haye to retain such a lofty ranking. Why complain about one fighter who can bring tons of money to thectable, but not the other who wouldn't bring nearly as much?

Your absolutely right. I did a little checking and Haye is mandatory to Povetkin. I'm not sure how long that will be though or when and how it will be enforced. If Povetkin fights Wlad as supposedly planned he loses his "regular" title. If he doesnt I think Haye beats him anyway. This should make the "Hayeters" happy. He's going to be a Wlad mandatory no matter what, its just a matter of time. If and when he does beat Povetkin, that alone would be good enough to warrant another title shot in my opinion.

Ideally I'd like to see any combination of fights between wlad, Haye, povetkin, boytsov, chagaev, fury, wilder, Scott, Jennings, Banks, adamek, arreola, chisora, helenius. As long as they were fighting each other instead of fighting cans waiting for a shot. Like we had in the 90s, you'd never get a fight like ibeabuchi-tua now if it wernt for a title.

he certainly meets the criteria and a hell of a lot more to meet wlad after the recent garbage wlad has fought (not wlads fought the division is garbage)

the problem is ego, both hate each other, haye is better of getting the wba strap and then seeing how things develop

I wouldn't mind seeing Haye-Wilder. Someones lights would be going out for sure.
