P4P kings??? Shut the f**k up. Canelo's signature win is a decision over a shell of himself Shane Mosley and Broner's is a win over Antonio Demarco.

If that's all it takes to be a boxing P4P king then this sport is even more motherf**ked than I thought.

Canelo & Broner both have through the roof potential but until they put it down on paper and come correct with some real resumes....I will continue to ROFLMFAO at you dudes who put them in P4P discussions. Ridiculous.

I don't think in the long run GBP will help Showtime..oh they'll get 3 or 4 great fights out of it but in the end as most analysts have pointed out Showtime is relying mostly on you tuning in a week later to watch a ppv event on re-run status...well it's the digital era..that fight will be on youtube the day after. The Mayweather deal is optional for both sides after 1 or 2 sides for a reason and I think it's the smartest move both sides have made thus far. I just hope Showtime pressures GBP for the opponents of their stars and we don't get two years of fluffers and snoozers.

            100% agreed.

Canelo has not fought ANYBODY yet. His entire list of recent opponents is either old guys with names or guys from lower weight classes. Trout is the first legitimate junior middleweight he is fighting. The winner of Canelo-Trout may have an argument for P4P, but right now Canelo does not.

Broner's wins over Antonio DeMarco and Gavin Rees were good wins and he deserves credit for them, but those guys are fighters in a very weak division (lightweight) and not even the best in their division. Nobody really expected those guys to beat Broner or give him a competitive fight. He needs to take some challenges and survive them, he needs to fight a Diego Corrales type guy.

Flood vs guerrero? We know the winner.

Rios vs alvarado will be exciting. Bradley vs pro is foty candidate.
              Rigo vs nonito is exciting.

At the end of the day, gbp life to feed us fights life khan vs molina, broner vs rees, canelo vs lopez from find to time which sucks.

THE DIRTY OLD MAN IS STILL BITTER AND ANGRY BECAUSE de LA HOYA MAYWEATHER COTTO PETERSON AND MANY OTHER HAVE LEFT AND BEEN SUCCESSFUL. TOP STANK WAS THE COMPANY THAT WAS PLAYING HBO BY NOT ALLOWING ITS OWN TOP FIGHTERS TO FIGHT EACH OTHER.

You cant do Andre Berto fights anymore?!?? When was Andre Berto in a bad fight? I can tell you a lot LESS times than Tim Bradley was! Collazo, Quintana, Zaveck, Ortiz, Guerrero, were all great fights. He is on a high horse because he put on a good card with two usually boring fighters, as he should be. But lets not get ahead of ourselves here Arum...

I LOL'd when it read that too, but I think Berto doesn't really deserve that hate at this stage in his career. He has been in two barn-burners with Ortiz and Guerrero.

No doubt. Berto is a warrior. I think the only issue is that HBO forced him down our throats in spite of one subpar performance after another.
