Yahoo as well, and I've always respected Yahoo's Top 10, they actually follow the sport, that said I have Ward at number #1 quite comfortably.Comment

Not sure Oscar does their rankings. But still, Ring's new rankings has a few questionable choices.
But Ring aside, how many other lists have Ward #1 like the post was suggesting? I'm genuinely curious.
I typed in "Boxing P4P Top 10" into google and all but one didn't have Ward at #1.
I think it's fair to say that the general consensus in the Boxing media right now is Ward isn't P4P #1. Last time I saw an interview from Ward, he himself said he didn't consider himself P4P #1 (Could well have changed his outlook now)Comment

Oh please, save it.
Throughout the entirety of 2009-2011 I had Manny Pacquaio as P4P #1.
I have no argument with someone having Ward or Marquez as P4P #1 right now either.
I was merely questioning a statement I have yet to see.Comment

Floyd is pretty much to the point he needs to lose to lose his spot. Ward possibly could have caught him if he stayed active but he hasn't done much at all since winning the Super Six and it will be hard for him with the opposition available to really raise his stock much further. Not sure Oscar does their rankings. Even though Floyd doesn't have all that many options, Ward would kill for the options Floyd has I don't even see a Guerrero out there for Ward let alone someone better that could allow him to catch up.
I do think Ward is the better fighter currently though, but some include more than that in their rankings.Comment

I'm not too familar with them. I came across them just when I typed it in google.
I usually go off The Ring, that's always been the go to list for most. But, their recent list is very questionable.
I wouldn't argue with someone who had Ward at #1, I wouldn't personally. For me, it's between Mayweather or Marquez. They're my #1-#2 interchangeable at this moment. Ward's amongst them, though.
I wouldn't say he's a comfortable #1 though, I don't see that. Especially considering his last fight.Comment

If Donaire beats Rigondeaux he will take Ward's #3 spot on my list.Floyd is pretty much to the point he needs to lose to lose his spot. But that's just me.Comment
