Well Ward can fight Chavez Jr, Froch at his current weight, GGG if he wants to move up.

Plus Ward can move up to LHW if he wants. Adonis Stevenson, Kovalov, some very good fights there too. I wouldn't exactly say he is in a "desert."

What sad is that he's right. Ward is local in my area and therefore known, but not as much as you might think. He's super known in the boxing community, but most casual fans have never heard of him.

Ward's best opponents are from europe so that has hurt him domestically..

Honestly nobody who is not a boxing fan had any clue who floyd was til the oscar fight and 24/7.. FLoyd has capitalized beautifully off those events and really made himself a brand name... i doubt ward will ever reach those levels that mayweather has
