I think this is what it ultimately boils down to. Floyd is just mad because Ward said he's rooting for Guerrero, and to Floyd that makes absolutely no sense. Floyd is the type of person who only keeps the people that ride him in his posse, the same way he only does interviews with people he knows will kiss his ass and give him an easy interview.

His opinion is his opinion even though I don't agree with it at all he said what he felt....

That last comment along with some others were totally unnecessary though.....

For whatever reason sounds like sour g****s

That is the beautiful thing about pound for pound lists they are all different and really no one has the exact same criteria. It is a fun topic to discuss as long as people don't take it that seriously.

Donaire would rightfully be very high if he wins that fight, you could put him higher if you really wanted and it would be a defensible position.

Even though Floyd doesn't have all that many options, Ward would kill for the options Floyd has I don't even see a Guerrero out there for Ward let alone someone better that could allow him to catch up.

I do think Ward is the better fighter currently though, but some include more than that in their rankings.
What? Floyd hasnt done nearly enough to keep it. While he has been mincing about, fighting once a year against average comp, other guys have been active and doing a **** sight more.

I wouldn't argue with someone who had Ward at #1, I wouldn't personally. For me, it's between Mayweather or Marquez. They're my #1-#2 interchangeable at this moment. Ward's amongst them, though.

              I wouldn't say he's a comfortable #1 though, I don't see that. Especially considering his last fight.
Just feel that he's clearly there, I have it...

              1. Ward
              2. Mayweather
              3. Marquez

If that's something you feel strongly about not being eligible for P4P status then what's your view on Ward?

Ward doesn't have a legit win since 2011.

do the Folks that decide whose #1 consider fighters that
Refuse to fight, the best Competition, in their Weight Class???
If so, ROIDWEATHER should have Dropped to about #11!!!

I feel he's clearly amongst them. Especially considering he won the Super Six and beat P4P calibur fighters in that time span.

                    But I don't think he's done much recently to suggest he's a clear #1.

Not his fault that he's only had one fight in 2012 but it was his fault it was a poor opponent.

Fact remains, his last legit win was in 2011.

Ward has fought what once in the last 16 months and has nothing lined up?

Why I said that has nothing to do with the reality it has to do with the media and the politics of their P4P lists, Floyd won't get dropped now until he gets beat but that has more to do with his whole career than his actual current status.

Like it or don't like, agree or disagree I don't care but you should understand how those lists works once a guy reaches a certain status, Floyd is at that status like it or not.
