You must be joking. There have been su****ions about hopkins for the past 10-12 years that I know of. He's never taken any serious testing, and wouldn't-unless he had 6 months to cycle off...and then he might even retire instead. Who know?

Hopkins and Holyfield are like 2 peas in a pod, and we know all about Holyfield. Hopkins is far more secretive and cunning than the others. I've watched him for 20 years and only after the Calzaghe fight did I hear he was married. He mentioned his wife...one little word. He refused to weigh in at fight time, and looked 15-20 lbs more than Calzaghe.

This guy would do ANYTHING to win, and we see over and over, he does. Are we to expect that this huy, who breaks all the rules of boxing, suddenly is a paragon of virtue.

He takes no supplements? I am not too familiar with Hopkins life style but I listened to De lahoya say one time that Hopkins takes his nutrition very serious.

it's well documented that hopkins lives a very clean lifestyle, diet included. do you really think that is an elaborate act?

Yeah but you've got to use common sense here. He didn't bring it up because it validates the accusation. And once a "theory" or "accusation" starts it never stops. It only spreads. It's like you're guilty until proven innocent.

And quite frankly, he should not be associated in this type of PED testing talk. All the fighters (Berto, Peterson) who got caught recently also had good physiques and relied on it too. It's not like their craft is winning them fights.

Hopkins does not HAVE a shredded body, he has lost muscle mass. He doesn't throw a ungodly amount of punches, only less and less. And his punching power hasn't returned out of nowhere. There is no basis for accusing him of PED's other than him still being here at 48, which can be attributed to life long discipline of eating right, training all year round, and resting properly, and not going out and partying like some fighters.

We have no idea what Hopkins does, he's the most secretive of all fighters. and as for "partying" the guy is a 48 year old married man with a family. As for his looking less sculpted, slowing down, etc, A drug user at 35-40 is going to be faster and better looking than the same guy at 48. He doesn't stay the same for ever.

Because his body hasn't changed, and he isn't knocking people out. Hopkins lives a clean life and works hard. What a legend.
