OK. It's a draw, the way it should be.

It's true, I don't like Hopkins. I used to follow his fights as well, and I didn't have any personal opinion, until the Trinidad fight. My dislike is all wrapped up in the fact that Trinidad stayed to help clear the rubble of 9/11, and Hopkins went off back home to continue training. Also the really dirty methods he used in the fight.

What amazed me was his speed. Knowing he was 48, I thought his punches would take, like, 3 seconds to reach his opponents. He was amazingly quick for a fighter of 40, let alone 48.

Idk if he's dirty or not but I've never enjoyed Hopkins fights till now. What he's doing is amazing. I love it... As a matter of fact at one point I hated this dude...

The most famous natural foods/vegetarianism guru in history, advisor to the whole of Hollywood, royalty, etc.who made vegetarianism popular, Gaylord Hauser, was caught one time stuffing himself with a huge steak in an obscure resturant. It ruined his business. Are we to believe that it was the first time he "slipped".... I'd believe Hauser before Hopkins any day.....
LOL @ the Hauser story. Hadn't heard of that one. Nice.

nice to know you're thinking rationally about all this.

But that's what makes it exceptional that HE DID. Why are there not other 48 year olds taking PED's who can also do it then?

He has great stamina for his age...but what makes it appear that he has more of it than he really has is that he knows how to move in a way that didn't allow Cloud to force the pace to a level that he wouldn't have been able to compete at...that's called mastery. He knows how to control the pace to his optimal level. He is a tactician and an artist.

Regardless...I can guarantee you that there are many boxers out there using PED's who will be long gone at 40...my point is PED's won't make a 48 year old into Bernard Hopkins...he is special and anyone who can't appreciate that and watching it is clueless.

He fights slow, not much power, just pure timing and skill. YES GUYS HE ON STEROIDS WITH HIS BURSTING MUSCLES AND ALL. Steroids wouldn't even help Bhops style lol except maybe Knock guys out

You can suspect any of the top fighters of using, but they are still innocent until proven guilty.

I don't know but it is a little suspect.

Remember when Roach left him because he thought he was done. Hopkins was acting confused in the fight and was walking to the wrong corner out of it (can't remember the fight).
