but why the **** would he do that? i mean floyd did the very same thing against castillo and ppl to this day whine about the fight. u think his handlers are gonn aput him against the likes of mathysse in his first fight at a weight? if thats the only fight that can be made without ppl accusing him of ducking someone then thats pretty pathetic.

Broner would probably win that fight. Would he be a good champion and defend his new title against the best welterweights available?

Mosley almost came out of retirement to fight Malignaggi.

Hell if Malignaggi ever goes up to 154, you'll be hearing Winky, Margarito, Quartey, Vargas, all coming out of retirement, killing themselves to make 154 to fight Paulie.

I feel bad for Malignaggi even though he's one of my favorite fighters. Everybody wants to fight him but it's not on the level of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo, Wlad type, it's because he's a featherfisted, easy title holder that you most likely will not suffer any damage even in losing.

If Broner goes up to WW to fight Malignaggi, I would love to see Broner vs Guerrero no matter if Guerrero loses to Mayweather.

I agree with the posters who say "it doesn't matter if he fights the washed up ****ty fighters over the prime top ones because people still wont give him credit for beating the prime, better ones". Boxing fans these days, disgusting

Oh well still dont see it happening but if it does then cool. If he wins the belt then when the majority of the 140 class move up, and they will move up, then hes a Champion there with ability to call shots. Smart move if it happens but like i said i dont think it will.

Maidana, Lopez, Guerrero, Ortiz, JMM, and Senchenko already there. Khan thinking of moving up. Soon Garcia, Peterson, and Lucas will too cause the money will be once again at 147. And Broner will have a belt

As long as Broner fights the guys at 140 I have no problem with him fighting Paulie. I dont think he stays at 147 if he beats Paulie anyway
