Yeah my FH thread got deleted. But idk, maybe a bunch of Broner fans ruined it overnight with racism and all of their usual ilk.

If Broner comes in light around 141/142, I see no reason he can't move down to 140 after this fight. Still, I'd rather see Broner stay at 135 for Burns or Abril, and I'd rather see Thurman/Ortiz fight Paulie this summer.

This isn't terrible though. I mean he's moving up two weight classes to fight a Top 10 fighter there.

yes it is terrible. p4p top 10 fighters should not be fighting shot past prime fighters with zero power.

Paulie's shot??? Maybe not prime....but certainly not shot.

Did you get on Manny for fighting past prime and coming off losses versions of Margarito or Mosley, or how about Marquez 3 when the only time Juan had been at that weight he was shut out, or how about David Diaz, when Casamayor and Campbell were there at 135 for him to fight.

I doubt it....you probably said something along the lines of....he dared to be great.

The kid is 23 years old, and there's no reason if he comes in light that he can't go down to 140 after this, or that he'll face those 140 guys in the future anyway.

I'd rather see Broner stay at 135 for another fight or two though, and would rather see Paulie fight Thurman or Ortiz.

              At least keep it 100.

I think staying at 147 makes no sense since Mayweather is there and they already don't want to fight each other. People should be excited about this. Make Pacquiao vs broner or Guerrero or Marquez. Those are tougher challenges than what's at 140, with the exception of Matthysse.
It does makes sense, boxing's easiest belt is there

Or how about Marquez moving to 140 to fight Fed f**king Chenko instead of a legit 140 lb fighter. He's Top 10 P4P and took useless tune ups, and I didn't see as many people b*tch this much. And before you come in and say "Marquez has proven himself over and over"....he's still a Top 10 P4P fighter and took those s**t ass fights.

pac taking on margarito at 150 then margarito coming in as a damn near super middleweight on fight night and taking on shane mosley is infinitely greater and more dangerous than a young lion in broner taking on yes a shot past prime fighter with zero power.

anybody with a brain can figure that out.

I thought you were one of the few floyd/broner fans who were actually respectable but you are starting to verge on flowmoe territory the more i see you post.

And your post is that of a P@CTARD, god I hate those terms.

Margarito was done and coming off getting stopped....you give props. Shane hadn't won a fight in over 2 years and was done, you give props.

And mind you....this was when Manny was at his absolute biggest in the sport, and he opted to fight those fights.

Broner is 23 years old. And like I said in the previous post, there's no reason he won't end up fighting those 140 guys later on or can't go down to 140 after this fight if he comes in light.
