It's unbelievable that you mention an Ali loss (Holmes) as a proof of the greatness of Ali or Ali's era.
And that a half-blind (Frazier) could be world champ is a proof of how that era ******, not vice versa.
Frazier belongs there where Foreman put him.
The only ones you could say that about in this crop is the two brothers. But they aren't fighting anyone that gives them competition. Sure, you can mention the "unbeaten" things. But how good was Wach? Who did he beat?
Whom did Ken Norton beat when he got a title shot? Come on, impress me. You are dissing Klitschko's opponents then answer me: Whom did Norton beat when he got a title shot? Klitschko would be laughed at if he chose an opponent like Holmes.Last edited by LacedUp; 03-07-2013, 11:30 AM.Comment

Muhammed ali, Joe Frazier, ken norton and larry Holmes were bums? Now I've heard it all. Don't try and big up a fighter by comparing his resume and opponents with other fighters from different eras, every era is different (promoters, tv deals, fighters less active). Could wlad be ant atg? Maybe, depends wether he defeats the challenges that are out there, but Ali, Frazier and Holmes are certified ATGs. Ken norton was a very good heavyweight and deserved HOFamer, anyone who says otherwise don't no 5h1t about boxing.Comment

He puts everything down to numbers, inventing rules like fighters that weigh over 200lbs have more value than those under 200. Not taking into account how good the fighters actually were. He actually says Ali's greatness is all down to luck and he was lucky in all his fights. It's a waste of time trying to discuss anything with this guy, he put so much effort in to get the numbers to fit into what he wants to believe that he isn't going to look at anything differently.Comment
