    same with shane mosley.

i'm just echoing the sentiments of bsceners, and don't agree with them.

i don't think it's the case that he "ducked" either, and still pick him to beat him if they were to fight in their primes. personally i don't see mayweather having any issues in fictitious fights with the recent WW, going all the way back to felix trinidad.

for some reason i have this vision of floyd taking a left hook high on the head against trinidad. who knows what happens after that

if his stayed on his shoulders floyd would invariably adjust.
I think anyone who followed the sport knows the deal with Mosley and Cotto.

Many disagree with me on this but I think his retirement was because he didn't want the Margarito. fight. I don't know why but I just think Mayweather didn't want that fight. It was a winnable fight but he didn't want it. I think that much as clear as much as some people deny it.

    I think there's certainly a few.

I think Trinidad would beat Mayweather, certainly.

He ducked Tszyu? When people bring up Tszyu, that is always an eye opener for me.

At which point did Mayweather duck Paul Williams? Before or after he lost to Quintana?

Let's add Shane Mosley to the list, he's one of the more obvious ducks, of course. Is it still 2009?

Let's face it, other than Margarito and Stevie Johnston who for one reason or another Mayweather clearly avoided and again let's throw Pacquaio in there just for arguments sake, you can't make a solid case for him avoiding any of those fighters and especially laughable examples like the Oscar rematch and Kosta Tszyu who are two fighters he obviously did not duck.

Let's throw in Vivian Harris while we're there, and Cory Spinks and Spadafora. Let's just throw in every person who he didn't fight while they were in the same divison. They must be ducks at this rate.

And I have absolutely no idea what your last sentence means.

if floyd didn't fight baldomir he'd have been accused of ducking the man. baldomir literally hit floyd with one punch of consequence over 12 rounds.

the better question is when will you stop posting about floyd? dude you spend most of your time in the NSB section lying and over exaggerating things that a floyd fan posted. you dont answer questions directly. then when all else fails-bumsniff,floydiot, flojob yada, yada, yada.

On topic, I think it's usually because he keeps lining up a fight with Berto and then Berto gets beat so he's left with few opponents other than the people who have just beaten Berto.

Bloody hell!...must be a slow news day on floydhype as all you ****s are crawling out from under your rocks.

and nice line of bs about 8/12. I was delighted for JMM and enjoyed the fight and the KO and if I did post a lot(not anywhere near you're exaggeration...and god how flojobs love to do that) it was to lampoon the hilarious and embarrasing reaction posts from flojobs who practically put a win over Manny on Floyd's resume , I have no alliegance to any fighter in particular, except maybe Froch and Brook, both of whom I have been lucky enough to meet and therefore cheer them on when they fight, but what I dont do is brownnose and applaud every time floyd farts. You do just that and its why you cant be taken seriously.

Of course he would. And people will laugh it off but he really would.

He would have been accused of ducking almost all the fighters he's fought in recent years if he hadn't fought him.

Can you even imagine if he didn't fight Mosley? That would be crazy.

I find it sad, yet a little humorous. But more sad.

margarito is an interesting case. i'd have to go back through the records to see when he lost to willaims, which would obviously detract from his credibility as an opponent. i think it was '07 or '08.

it's pretty regularly stated that floyd declined 8 million to fight margarito, which was a good deal of money for that period of his career. i'm honestly not sure if that claim has ever been substantiated to a degree of absolute certainty.

and his chin was so good that you can see why he'd be low on the list of guys to fight.

If anyone accused him of ducking someone as crap as baldomir at any point, then they would need shooting.
