A younger Chad Dawson made a similar claim too, and many have given him a built in excuse for the whipping he took from Andre Ward.

As far as proof is concerned: When Lou Dibella was asked about Sergio going to 168, he immediately shot it down by saying Sergio had to load up on meat and potatoes just to have enough to weigh 160..

But its well documented that on the 30 day weigh in before his last 2 fights that he has weighed well over 170 pounds... That doesn't sound like he had to load up on meat and potatoes. .. But I'm sure you will deny this happened and say its not enough proof

Floyd Mayweather has yet to clean out a division since light weight. At 140 he font everybody except Hatton and Kosta.

At 147, no Manny or Bradley.

At 154, he didn't fight anyone except a shop worn Cotto.

The so called best fighter in the world as not cleaned out a division in over 10 years.

Mayweather, do yourself a favor and look at how Andre Ward cleans out a division. You not only beat the best guy, but you beat the 2,3 and even 4 best fighter in the division.
        ------------------------------------------------------

At 140, Cotto and Hatton refused to fight him saying they weren't ready and before you shoot your mouth, both Cotto and Hatton admitted to that later on.
Hatton went on to beat Kotsya who subsequently retired. There was NOBODY else to fight at that weight class so he moved on to 147 and fought two belt holders: Zab and Baldomir.
He cashed his chips with a mega fight with Oscar for obvious reasons.

You tell us who else is there at 147 for him to figh?? Manny fight will NOT happen because of Arum. We've seen this game for too long.
Bradley? Seriously? Bradley is a joke and if you are trying to tell us Bradley can beat Floyd then you knowledge of boxing is like Bradley's talents

According to Canelo, the two of them reached a verbal agreement on terms and Mayweather was going to sign a contract to fight Canelo in September. In exchange for his signature, Canelo would appear in the co-feature position to Mayweather's fight with Robert Guerrero on May 4th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Once the card was officially announced, Canelo says Mayweather refused to sign his end of the deal. The Mexican superstar alleges that Mayweather was trying his use his name to boost the pay-per-view numbers, and tickets sales, on Cinco De Mayo weekend. [ Click Here To Read More]

this crybaby not only got punked out of a fight date that he claimed was his,he actually will lose money from a percentage of the ppv sales by getting off the card.he's getting the same check that he was getting on cinco de mayo.canela you can't dictate who mayweather fights.your resume of smaller weight fighters and a old shane mosley won't get you there.plus you're not good enough to beat mayweather.

Ponce Mares is just as good a fight as Canelo Trout in my book. I'm sold on Ponce Mares as fighters. I'm not sold on Trout or Canelo yet because neither has faced an opponent that is as big as they are or strong as they are. I'm glad they are fighting It's time that champions start unifying he division again, and then making a super fight. Everyone nowadays wants to super fights with unproven commodities. FOH...

Yes you can. Alvarez especially. Its obvious the fight has been built up for at least the last year, and if Mayweather changes his mind now, its a duck.
