An even newer study has confirmed that Klitschko fans are generally blessed with a higher IQ than other boxing fans.

He's not an ATG. His baby bro is. But losing to the 2 best fighters you fought in your prime, ducking Rahman and then retiring for 3 years only to come back and playa 2nd fiddle, doesn't make you an ATG. Sorry.

He's maybe a top 20-25 HW, and it should only be top 15 for ATG in a weight class.

LOL at the 'ducking' Has-been Rahman comment.

Rahman back then would have been one of Vitali's best wins. How sad is that?

he pulled out how many times? 4? only to come back when the division was softer than baby food. rahman would be his best win without a doubt. rahman is actually better than vitali historically. he has a real win over lewis not a fantasy win. they both beat sanders and rahman beat tua and toney. vitali's long list of bums like charr, arreola, johnson, adamek doesn't compare.

Pains me to say it, but it would be one of 'better' names on Vitali's resume.

Not sure we can call Adamek a 'bum', but the likes of Charr and Johnson add nothing to Vitali's CV.

I'm not sure if that "represents the sport well".

And yes, Mike Tyson was maybe controversial, but he brought more casual fans to boxing in his 20 year career than Wlad and Vitali combined could hope to do in a 100 year career.

There are many boxers who represent the sport well, as well as Vitali, and better. But you wouldn't call them great.

A boxer's greatness is determined by what happens in the ring, not outside of it. Only few, such as Ali, can get their status elevated by out of the ring achievements and with all do respect to the Klitschko's, they couldn't carry Ali's spit bucket in that department.
The steroid misunderstanding has been thoroughly explained and clarified already many times in this thread - Vitali was unknowingly administered steroids by a doctor at the time.

At least Vitali isn't some drug-crazed rapist who bites his opponents ear off. Scuffling in the Ukrainian parliament is sort of normal, btw. Vitali is a political freedom fighter in his home country, and he should be applauded for his efforts.

Ali was a traitor who refused to go to war for his own country.

Who is his best win then?
