Floyd's resume is better than Oscar, Toney, Tyson, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, and possibly Hopkins. I mean really go through the wins and who they beat.

I'd say only Holyfield, Lewis, Whitaker, and barely Pacquiao have a better resume the past 25 years. He can surpass Pacquiao too, if he goes on to have 3-4 more solid/good wins and Manny doesn't do much from now on.
    This guy.

Does Floyd have a top 5 resume? I think a serious case could be made for Floyd here.

Top resumes of the last 25 years
      (No particular order)

      Holyfield
      Lewis
      Hopkins
      Pacquaio
      Whitaker

      Also in consideration:
      Tyson-Toney-Whitaker-Morales-Barrera-De La Hoya

Where does Floyd fit in among that group(I'm sure I didn't include a few fighters)

      Is Floyd's resume top 5?
      no. feck no......

I'm not even a Floyd fan.. but Floyd haters got to wake up.
Floyd sure as hell is in the debate for top 5 resumes (last 25 years).
Lewis-Holyfield-Hopkins are the only 3 clear cut resumes above Floyd's.

Pacquaio vs Floyd resume wise - I will give a very slight edge to Pacquaio.

Roy Jones jr vs Floyd- Slight edge to Roy...

Tyson? Tyson got an underrated resume.. and is a top 10 ATG HW, I think Floyd slightly edges it.

An argument could easily be made for Floyd OVER Roy+Pac.. hence top 5 debate.

Even if you give Oscar the Trinidad win and one of the Mosley fights, you could say many felt he didn't beat Whitaker, and many felt he didn't beat Quartey, or Sturm either.

So as it stands....Oscar has wins over Molina, Ruelas, Genaro, Leija, Chavez, Gonzalez, Whitaker, Quartey, Carr, Gatti, Vargas and Sturm......

I'll take wins over Genaro, Manfredy, Corrales, Castillo, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto over that.

Oscar lost most of his big fights, and even if you give him a win or two of those big fights losses, you could take away possibly as many as 3 other wins on his resume.

Also, Floyd definitely has the longevity argument on his side. Oscar's last 8 years of his career (01-08) he beat Gatti, Vargas, and Sturm. In Floyd's last 8 years (05-12) he's beaten Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto. Prior to that Oscar had been on top for 7 years (94-00) and prior to that for Floyd, he'd also been on top for 7 years 98-04.

Floyd's still beating top fighters at 35-36 years old. Oscar wasn't.

The truth is blacks are all over the top 100 ATG list, so Floyd coming in the bronze era of boxing, he has a lot to do to overcome his countrymen, who happen to be the best of the last 25 years.

And the same could be said with Mayweather with his first fight with Castillo. He lost to Sturm but beat Whitaker and Quartey.

You're forgetting Gonzalez, Mayorga(I know), Campas, Molina, Castillejo, Camacho, oh yea...like Gatti before Floyd..Hernandez.

@ Manfredy....when was he a champion? Exactly!! Didn't Judah come off a loss?!?! You know how you Floyd boys LOVE to criticize Pac for that.

Most of his big fights? You people sure love to talk out of your asses don't you?

Another thing...he already beat the fuck out of a Mayweather around his 3rd fight.
