If any one else had Floyd's exact resume, forget about top 5 in the last 25 years. They'd claim top 15 ATG. Especially if it was a Mexican fighter or a fighter from a nationality tat doesn't have many top 50 ATG's.

Yea because undeserving Mexicans get rated higher than deserving American fighters.... you know like how Broner is the #5 P4P and Mares isn't even rated in the top 10

Not even!! That honor goes to black boxers. Look at how some of them got whack resumes and are called legends just cause they move pretty against a lot of bums. Floyd's resume is make up of a lot of left overs.

Does Floyd have a top 5 resume? I think a serious case could be made for Floyd here.

Top resumes of the last 25 years
            (No particular order)

            Holyfield
            Lewis
            Hopkins
            Pacquaio
            Whitaker

            Also in consideration:
            Tyson-Toney-Whitaker-Morales-Barrera-De La Hoya

Where does Floyd fit in among that group(I'm sure I didn't include a few fighters)

            Is Floyd's resume top 5?
Top 10 yeah, top 5 I don't know. Beating great fighters helps your resume but losing hurts your resume as well. I know Hopkins, Holyfield and Lewis have definitely better resumes, the rest is debatable. Floyd beat the #1 guy in 4 weightclasses and has 3 ATGs on his resume but apparently he's a chump...

Genaro, Manfredy, Corrales, C. Hernandez, Chavez, Castillo, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, and Cotto.

Floyd's resume is better than Oscar, Toney, Tyson, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, and possibly Hopkins. I mean really go through the wins and who they beat.

I'd say only Holyfield, Lewis, Whitaker, and barely Pacquiao have a better resume the past 25 years. He can surpass Pacquiao too, if he goes on to have 3-4 more solid/good wins and Manny doesn't do much from now on.

I respect Mayweather Skills but lets be honest...The Last Few Eras of boxing haven't been all that great, I would say Mayweather was part of a Weak Era in which his Skills was so far ahead of everybody that he never got a rival or even challenged much...and the people most fans claim he "DUCKED" to be honest, none of them would have defeated Mayweather ANYWAY

ONly fighters I thought for sure would beat Mayweather in his ERA was Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest and at that time none of the fans was calling for Mayweather to fight any of those fighters they was busy trying to get him to fight Cotto and Margarito...I'm just going to say it...those two end up being some of the most OVERRATED FIGHTERS OF THEIR ERA! And in their Prime they would not have defeated Mayweather anyway!

So bottom line in my honest unbiased opinion, it is nothing on Mayweather Resume currently and it is no fight(s) currently that can move his Resume Up to "TOP 5"

His ERA just did not produce many Greats or All Time Greats so he is the product of a WEAK ERA and he as the start of the HYPE ERA...Mayweather himself was hyped but after him fighters was Hyped Up so they could try to find somebody to compete with him and most of them FAILED to live up to the HYPE
