When he fought Narvaez, a natural 115lb fighter, 5ft2'' he rehydrated to 133lbs with 3 meals to go. He was around 140 on fight night. Are you honestly impressed by that Larry? A guy outweighing and outsizing someone by 4-5 divisions come fight night?
    I know I'm not.

After all, wasn't you giving Chavez Jr stick for rehydrating something ridiculous? Maybe not but most on here was yet they're fine with Donaire doing it? Double standards IMO

It gets me how Rigondeaux smashes him to pieces then hes automatically accused of being a bum.

Many on here actually gave Ramos a good chance to beat Rigondeaux!
Rigo destroyed him in only his 9th pro outing.

Marroquinn is a decent young prospect in his own right.
Shimoda wasn't highly regarded, and neither was Ramos for losing every second to this guy until the 1 punch. It was a pathetic perfeormance, was clear this guy doesn't have what it takes. Where the hell was hyped? He also wasn't higly regarded by anyone that caught him on shobox and telefutura before or after.

Marroquin was a decent prospect, but all those guys were champs, which is what prospects hope to become. None of them had recently lost to the likes of Frankie Leal either.

Those are not hbo figures, who the hell knows how accurate. Plus you're adding 7lbs just for the heck of it, lmao. We have 2 sets of hbo fight night weights that have him rehydrating very little compared to divisional average:

129 vs Arce, who was 135
126 vs Montiel, who was 134

You expect me to believe he was 126, then next fight 140, then goes up in weight and is 129? GTFO

Nonito said it himself, posted it on his FB so go call him a liar rather than me.
Also funny how they say his opponents apparently outweigh him yet he is the one dwarfing opposition.
I think HBO must be getting his weights & his opponents mixed up.

Marquez would give Lucas big problems but I'd fancy Lucas too pull through, even still no shame in losing to Marquez he is a great fighter! I'd love to see that fight actually.

Its a shame Poonsawatt failed a medical, I'm sure he would of answered a lot of questions about Rigondeaux.
Yeah it was a real shame actually, that fight would have really cleared up some questions!

And yeah no shame in losing to Marquez, he's one of the best fighters of this decade. And Mathyyse vs Khan is a fight that I'm actually looking forward too, I don't mind who wins out of them two as long as one of them ko's Danny Garcia.

From Donaires FB for the fight with 5ft2, 115lb Narvaez.

''Nonito Donaire Jr. · 146,097 like this
              October 21, 2011 at 11:01pm ·
Yep, 131lbs n I still have breakfast, lunch and dinner tomorrow before I fight! Totally amped and thanks to my fans for their belief in me and prayers but Team Donaire has prepared me and we are GOOD TO GO!''

So he was basically 140lbs in there for Narvaez yet he moves up in weight and apparently is only weighing in now at 126-129 yeah okay then!

As you can see, I am not a liar. Nonito says this himself and in your own words @ Hero ''You expect me to believe he was 126, then next fight 140, then goes up in weight and is 129? GTFO''

What do you have to say now? What is your excuse for Donaire? Or are you willing to admit he is huge at these lower weight classes and HBO numbers are a load of ****?

You're expecting me to think HBO is lying about the weight of the guy that just had his 1st $1m payday? Do you also think the commission is on it, he couldn't have been making the official weight all these years if he's this 140lb monster.

Donaires words not mine & do you really believe Arce outweighed him by 6lbs & Montiel outweighed him by 8lbs? Despite Donaire appearing to be the one with 10+ on them

Maybe his undefined body creates an optical illusion and he lies about his own weight on FB & too multiple other sources.

The 29-year-old Donaire mentioned to sports news site **** Boxing that he conditioned himself thoroughly for the bout since he was disappointed with his previous performance.

“For this fight I had been walking at 133 to 138 pounds, which is a big difference,” Donaire told ****boxing.

i dont care about his walkaround weight, that means 0. he's not especially tall at 122, nor is he defined. He didn't look 8lb lighter to me than Montiel, but i'm not gonna dispute the hbo weights, esp 2 sets that are consistent. i highly doubt they fudged the numbers for a minor star, or mixed up twice.
