I still say Corboda is very underrated, his only real clear cut loss was to Bernard Dunne. Lets say Corboda had got the decisions & such he'd have wins over a prime Caballero, Poonsawatt, Sydorenko x2
In a Richard Abril sense he has had a very unfortunate career with getting a lot of debatable decisions. He is undeniably IMO a world class operator

I think the last fight was very telling. Rigo doesn't know how to handle adversity but that is completely normal for a guy when they're starting out in the pros. Rigo and his devotees would have been better to keep Donaire's name out of their mouths because he's going to run into big trouble if he starts looking lost in the ring with a guy of that level. I think he's talented but he's about to be fed to the lions rather than being developed as a pro properly and it's a shame.

It gets me how people big up some of Donaire's latest wins then have the audacity to try shred Rigondeaux's opposition.

Shot to **** Arce, really? Just a name who came to collect a paycheque.
          Jeffrey Mathebula - lol...
Vasquez Jr - Coming off a brutal beating at the hands of Arce.

People really telling me these guys are any better at the stage of their careers than Corboda, Ramos & Marroquinn?

I am not worried about being proven wrong and people have laughed before at my predictions and opinions and I've gone on to be right and also wrong.
We went through this when I said Matthysse was a beast for example, everyone on here saying he was a slow bum etc
Sometimes you just gotta go against the grain. I see things in Rigo others don't.

& yeah he got hit by a big guy with a dynamite left hook, I find it funny how people base **** on him getting hit with 1/2 shots. Hes only human! I was impressed by how well he took it and how well he stayed composed tbh
He dropped him and continued to dominate.
Yes I remember you predicting that about matthysse amd after the fight with ajose, everyone suddenly became a fan of his on here. But tbh I'm not sold on him either, I really think he would struggle against someone with good lateral movement, eg a Marquez.

And yeah I have seen Rigo doing some incredible things during training and matches but really te question is against who? Goodness knows what would have happened if that was Donaire's left hook that landed on Rigo. But he's relatively inexperienced in the professional scene, but he's first 11 fights against the opposition he has is very impressive. But until he really steps up the competition we won't know if he's the real deal or a flash in the frying pan. I personally hope he goes onto to do great things, but at this point in time I think it's a bit early to speculate.

It gets me how Rigondeaux smashes him to pieces then hes automatically accused of being a bum.

Many on here actually gave Ramos a good chance to beat Rigondeaux!
Rigo destroyed him in only his 9th pro outing.

Marroquinn is a decent young prospect in his own right.

ive got the same sentiment before, but now looking at how his fans act, go ahead and feed him to donaire or mares.

I remember most this board against me when I said he'd K.O Amir Khan, I wonder if they still feel the same way?
Marquez would give Lucas big problems but I'd fancy Lucas too pull through, even still no shame in losing to Marquez he is a great fighter! I'd love to see that fight actually.

Its a shame Poonsawatt failed a medical, I'm sure he would of answered a lot of questions about Rigondeaux.
