Seems like a perfect match for Alvarez to me and it should for the brain trust at GBP, a weight drained(@154) legitimate champ who just destroyed Chavez, (Canelo's rival). If he does any better it's a win/win. I think Canelo can win that fight at 154.

Quillin has already turned down a fight with Martinez

remember when Quillin was calling out Martinez in public? well in private he turned down a fight.

Mayweather won't fight Martinez at 154 or even 150, doesn't want to risk the zero.

GGG would fight Martinez but who has GGG beat as a pro? what has he done. say something when he beat a top 10 middleweight. he's fight a journeyman junior middleweight when actual middleweights are calling him out.

Martinez wants to go back to 154 not up. he weighs 165 on fight night. people act like he's a giant but he isn't. yeah so he's suposed to go to 168 because everybody with a name is afraid of him at 154 and 160.

Canelo doesn't want Martinez. yeah we all know Canelo was calling him out publicly but Golden Boy made NO offer to DiBella or Samson. it was just BS from Canelo.

Chavez jr is the only big fight out there for him. i don't like it but if these so called stars grew a pair then maybe we'd see something better.

Martinez is right chavez dosent deserve a rematch in that 24/7 series he was just de****able an undisciplined punk but lets keep it real that twelfth rd. was interesting when he finally decided to fight now I see he wants a new trainer he got some serious soul searchin to do man a new trainer isn't the problem he is freddie should've walked out on him. People choose to hate just for hating. I don't know why so much hate for Sergio. People saying that he should challenge 168 fighters when Sergio is a small Middleweight coming from Welterweight and is 37 years old. Is not that Sergio is fighting bums at 160, is just that he is THAT GOOD! Just accept reality as it is! Chavez Jr. is not a great fighter, but he is dangerous and has beaten up a lot of Middleweight contenders very easy as of late, and Sergio made him look as a grade D fighter. As I said, is not that Sergio is fighting bums, is just that he is the best at the weight, just like Mayweather makes boxers look like bums at 147, Nonito at 122, etc., is just that they are THAT GOOD!
