I also think he will vacate, rater than face certain defeat but why would he not move down to MW instead of up to LHW. Better fights and more money in MW i think.....he could make the weight i guess......

I don't think it's likely that he moves down to 160. It's much more likely that he lures Martinez up to 168 for a fight in jOakland. That would be a great storyline for the fanboys. Ward would be linear champ at 168 and would have beaten the linear champs above and below. Few would note that not only was Dawson a huge LHW but Martinez is a midget MW.
