Originally posted by kenso View PostTruth is, that he doesn't have a resume full of great fighters - because they weren't there to be fought.
Originally posted by kenso View PostWhat he does have though, is a long string of pure annihilation to back up his case.
Originally posted by kenso View PostHe also has a fight where he was decisively, clearly beating Lennox Lewis. Despite the controversial outcome, Vitali had one of the worst cuts in boxing history and was still winning the fight.

I always liked Vitali a lot more then Wlad due to the way he came to fight, but his resume is not very good at all, certainly not HOF worthy in my eyes. Wlad on the other hand, whilst I'm not keen on his style have to give him his credit
Vitali should either retire or add another Haye to his resume. I would pick Haye for he first 6 rounds by KO but after that he gasses and gets knocked out, either way I think a KO happens, it wold be a great fight whilst it lasted I think

I'm not a Vitali fan at all but Haye is a f-cking joke. We're OK with fighters waiting till another fighter is over the hill before finally wanting to fight him?
Come on, people. Haven't you been scammed by Haye enough times? I thought it was only the gullible Brits who fell for his nonsense.
This is a guy who refuses to fight any other contenders, who is chasing an old man down that he wouldn't touch even 2/3 years ago, who faked a retirement, who jerked everyone around and then give us a pitiful performance against Wlad.
The fight does carry some intrigue but honestly, I don't like the idea of Haye being back in the boxing world. He's a scam artist, a Premier League footballer in the body of a boxer.
F-ck him.

I'm not one of those people who talks about whether someone "deserves" to fight someone else - for me, the question is simple. Would I like to see the fight or not?
Haye vs Vitali. Yes, I would.
But David Haye is just one of those individuals I take exception to - whenever he has fought in the last few years, the feeling I'm left with is of disappointment, emptiness and irritation.
The guy is a scam artist. He's in a fake retirement, calling out a declining 41 year old who he didn't want to touch a few years ago. And to top if off, refuses to fight anyone else.
It's just not worth it with this guy. And I say this as someone who was a fan of his during his CW days.
