I consider Trinidad an obvious choice for the Hall of Fame. About being an ATG, I guess that depends on what holds more weight for some fans. I think he could be an ATG at 147, based on the number of title defenses and unifying the division, but I understand if some fans think he is borderline instead.

With that being said, I have seen a lot of ridiculous comments that show little or no knowledge of who Trinidad was in his prime. Seeing Youtube clips does not do the man justice. I suppose you had to be following when he was perceived as unstoppable to understand. His level of opposition, during the 1999 to 2001 period alone, is better than the career resumes of many other overrated fighters.

Doesnt matter Joppy held a belt and was a strong solid middle weight. Your right Tito was not the most versatile fighter but his power and stamina made up for it. How versatile was Rocky Marciano?..or Tyson?..or power punchers like that..Thats what Tito was a power puncher, who tried to take your head off with every other punch he threw. Just becuase he wasnt as veratile as other boxers does not mean that he is not an ATG. Canelo has 41 pro fights..and name me 1 real legit top 5 154 pounder?...please name me 1. Joppy didn't make his name by beating Duran at all. No one thought he was God or anything but he was considered a solid middleweight champion.

Wasn't much out there at the time. Joppy is a dime a dozen fighter in my book. In every weight class there are 8 to 10 Joppy's. I can't remember anything outside him beating Duran that would have given him any lime light. I'll let y'all throw sugar on **** to pump ya boy Trinidad up.

Why would I call one a running coward? Oscar actually fought most of the time unlike the "sweet science" boring shitbags we have out there. Another FYI I like a lot of black boxers, and some are in my top 10 ATG favorites. Fail.
Trinidad did something illegal and I don't always talk shit about that. A lot of the times I'm actually praising Trinidad, even if he was black he would of been exciting cause he actually fought.
