JUYJUY, you are just too ridiculous, especially when u say taylor looked better than jones against hopkins. Jones is a great fighter, definitely a hall of famer, who just could not (i'd rather put "has not") conquer his biggest obstacle to date, which is Tarver.

He also Lost to Igor Ruzhnikov (Russia, 139, 1986), John Reid (Ireland, 156, 1986), Andy Liebing (Cuba, 156, 1986), Frank Liles (almost KTFO, US nationals, 156, 1988) and Gerald McClellan (US Golden Gloves, 156, 1988). Then, Jones got a gift to the 1988 Olympics when every sane person knows it should of been Gerald McClellan going to Seoul. Mediocre Richie Woodhall gave Jones a very close fight in the semi-finals. Then Park Si-Hun was Jones' 13th amateur loss.

Also remember that Jermain Taylor looked better against Bernard Hopkins than Jones did and that Michael Nunn looked better against James Toney than Jones did. People should not forget the Schooling that Montell Griffin put on Jones. Let's not forget 40-year-old Mike McCallum giving Jones a really close fight. Let's not forget Lou Del Valle almost KTFO Jones. Let's not forget Antonio Tarver KTFO Jones. Let's not forget Glencoffe Johnson KTFO Jones. Let's not forget Antonio Tarver beat Jones four times - 1982 (robbed), 2003 (robbed), 2004 and 2005. Jones' best resume is the guys he avoided and ducked - Gerald McClellan, Lamar Parks, Julian Jackson, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Michael Nunn, Graciano Rocchigiani, Fabrice Tiozzo, Steve Collins, Henry Maske, Dariusz Michalczewski, James Toney II, Bernard Hopkins II, Joe Calzaghe, Vassilliy Jirov, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, the list goes on.

And remember that Michael Nunn got knocked the **** out by James Toney, and James Toney could hardly land a glove on Jones Jr. Also remember that Jones Jr. fought Hopkins 12 years ago when Hopkins was younger, and had better endurace than he did at age 40, and Jones Jr. also had a broken hand. Tarver lost twice to Jones, deal with it.

Also remember that Taylor's wins were close UD's compared to the wide margin that Jones beat him by.

You should really pull your head out of your ass sometime.

It was a flash KD with Del Valle. He got up right after falling. Griffin was controlling the first half of the fight, then Jones figured him out and started pounding him. He knocked him down twice that fight before his DQ, then he rocked his ass in the next fight, KOing him in one. Should Toney also be bashed because he lost TWICE to the very same fighter that Jones beat?

Please, for the sake of the community here, leave these forums. You're a complete moron.

Have you even seen the Roy Jones vs Park Si-Han fight? It was the single most one sided fight i had ever seen and they robbed him of the gold medal. All you want is attention get a life.

dude where did u get this info from, amatuer record tells a lot about a fighter...
In amateurs boxers are truly fighting for the sport not for money or other things.

Juy Juy, are you just trying to start beef?

Do you really think all this?

I am a Jones hater 4 life but I think this **** is rediculous.

You can't duck a second fight with someone whose ass you kicked. And Lewis wanted no part of Jones. He said so multiple times, not because he was scared but because the fight would be boring he said.

And against Toney, Jones ran. He didn't try to win the fight by knockout or stoppage which is the proper way to win a world title. Michael Nunn actually stood right in front of Toney and just out-boxed him, Jones couldn't do that.
do u relly think taylor right now is better than jones was then?
jones was fighting a prime hopkins, and taylor was fighting a washed up bhop. be reasonable
