Was this a star making performance? Will people still not give a damn about Trout?

Trout fought very well but had a tough fight with a Cotto who was a shell of himself last night. He don't want it with Canelo.

Canelo will run thru Trout. Trout doesn't have the power to hold him off and Canelo is quicker, stronger, faster and coming into his prime with power in both hands. Trout will be destroyed.

it usually takes more than one fight to become a star. trout isnt there yet but hes proved hes legit and set himself up for more big fights in the future. if he remains successful stardom is up ahead but it takes more than one performance. i cant wait to see him in another big fight myself.

He fought a great fight against Cotto but I don't think either that this will make him a big name.

no he didn't really score a spectacular knockout. IMO star making performance requires someone to make casual fans interesting...and they are not interested in TRout.

Not on the verge of becoming a star, but I'm looking forward to seeing him. For one, I was wrong - pretty sure I said (as in, here, on this website) Cotto would win a decision. I like the way he fought last night, and I'm really curious to see how he does against Lara, Molina, Kirkland and Vanes. I personally think, he might just win them all. I doubt he gets a Canelo or Floyd fight, but those other four are possible. So yeah, I'm interested.

He definitely got more fans of this but I don't know about Star making performance. If he keeps it up like this he will definitely be a bigger name though
