  • Why do you think that anyone using a shoulder roll is trying to _unsuccessfully- imitate Mayweather...?? In the past, nearly everybody who had any sense of self-preservation had a shoulder roll as art of his defensive moves. Just one of many. The ony reason that Mayweather uses it is because he was taught to, by his father, who used it all the time. Otherwise, like many tody, he wouldn't know anything about it.

And...by the way, it is not an almighty cure-all, miracle 6 inch armour plate that Mayweather's "genius" grabbed from the clouds. He gets hit enough, athough it's designed to take some of the power off the heavy shots, He usually makes sure to fight someone whom he knows for certain he will beat. He nearly slipped up against Augustus, who had lost about 20 fights then, and Castillo, whom he thought was well beaten-up by having been the sparring partner for Julio Cesar Chavez for over 6 years.

Augustus actually had a rather better shoulder roll than Mayweather. There's a guy, who with better management and training habits, would have been a champion.

Margarito didn't want to fight Paul Williams back when he wanted to fight Mayweather and had an early fight with Cotto coming up. Paul Williams called Cotto out after he KO'd Quintana in the rematch and Pacquiao said no to a Paul Williams fight about 2 1/2, 3 years ago. Before the awesome KO loss to Matinez. Mosley and his pops said no to Paul Williams. I honestly feel in my opinion that it was because Williams didn't really belong at WW. I'm talking style wise and for me. Martinez style is more of a threat to Mayweather than Paul Williams. Fact still remains that these are both of our opinions but most times fights don't get made for political reasons. Williams was also with Al Haymon who Mayweather is with. Lots of ways to look at it.
Actually Margarito wanted to fight Williams but was offered more money to take another fight..My point still stands..none of the others you mentioned would've retired rather than fight him as a mandatory..vacate a title yes but flat our retire..I don't see it happening. Also Mayweather wasn't with Al Haymon when it first was offered to him..either way this is a matter of opinions. I respect yours like you've respected mine.

You obviously don't read too well. In that article, Goodman never says one thing about USADA. Not a single thing. Goodman is a professional and she genuinely has admiration and respect for USADA. So it would be unthinkable that she would publicly say negative things about USADA. Every single time I've asked you to share something where Goodman clearly says something negative about USADA, you fail in epic fashion.

Also, if you take a look at the VADA twitter, you cannot find a single thing negative about USADA. One thing you can quickly find though is a tweet about USADA nabbing Lance Armstrong.

In the article you linked, the writer says he speaks with Goodman and gets advice from her. But never does she say a single thing bad about USADA.

I don't know why you said that..I just don't see it..rigo have 8 out of 12 KOs that make him have a 75 %..he floored every single one of his opponents..he defeated gamboa in two hard fought matches..dude is a beast..gamboa is my favorite fighter...

          • Berto has maybe the lowest ring IQ ever known to man. First of all, he gets in there and try to implement the shoulder roll stance which he's not use to doing and knows very little about. I guess he decided to try to use the shoulder roll after watching Broner's destruction of Demarco last week, Berto isn't too bright. On the ropes, he would put Robert on his heels with 1 or 2 good shots but instead of following up, he grabs him. Berto is awful, nothing more than a gatekeeper.

            • Great fight. I had Berto winning in easy fashion, but i was wrong. Ghost proved that he had what it takes at 147. He took HUGE shots, and kept coming. Almost like a much more polished version of Margarito. I think a fight with Bradley would be huge, and for sure put the winner for a mega fight. As for Berto, i cant knock him. The guy is all heart, and despite the 2 knockdowns, he kept fighting, and landing big shots. Great fight for both guys tonight, and a rematch I would pay for.

I agree, both were fighting dirty, but that what you expect from a straight up dog fight, really no boxing skill invoved in this one, straight up in the hood fight.

Yeah I guess "They don't disclose what they are testing they actually do is innappropriate" or "The contracts are stipulated by the promoter" isn't criticism..also no comment either on winky wright eh? Lol..this is pointless dude..seriously..that's a respectable boxer himself telling you USADA is pure bullshhh yet you are avoiding that shhhh like Romney was avoiding talking about the 47%...it's ok bro. On the lance armstrong topic, USADA for the cycling world reports to the authoring bodies, I would know I lived that world for 17 years prior to injury as I just told someone else on here..usada for boxing only reports to the promoters not the boxing commissions. I know you read it and why exactly you won't speak on it. Drug testing that I can dictate is not drug testing..it's postering but that hurts your argument so you won't acknowledge it anyway at all..you talk about fail. Comprehension clearly isn't your strong suit. With that i'm done.

It's not a lack of IQ, it's a lack of chin. He had to grab because he was afraid to exchange punches. He knew the Ghost would KO him so held always held that one arm.

Broner had a decent win against little demarco but he ain't Floyd. Broner better stay at 135 like he's come to realize recently because he will have problems if he moves up wit these big boys. Guererro was 158 tonight, way bigger than Berto was and broner is..
I believe berto was 158 and Guerrero was 152 on fight night. Broner to get taxed? Maybe it only takes 1 punch sometimes, but until then things are goin to be very interesting
