I think Yuri will fight a couple of the top dogs at 130. There really isn't much interest in that division. I would imagine that a champ or two would like a crack at a name like Gamboa. I don't see why Uchiyama wouldn't jump at the chance. I'd love to know who were the guys Moretti was talking about that turned down a fight with Yuri.
    Uchiyama won't leave Japan.

But Gamboa should go to Japan, like Broner should have.

Gamboa was supposed to fight Salgado, that would have been great and better than anything Broner did at 130 in one fight.

    Beltran would have been ideal.

Haymon/Broner would never do that. Like I said, I don't see Gamboa having a problem traveling since his career started overseas but I can't see his people allowing that.

I was loving the Salgado fight but it seems like that fell thru cause of the dispute between 50/Floyd or cause of 50 not being experienced as a promoter.

I know he wouldn't, but he should have. Gamboa should too.

Gamboa should get this tune up out the way and clean out 130, quickly.

          Good news he's fighting.

Bad news I wanted to see that fight.

Gamboa just need to take care of business and pretend like 2012 never happened.

Salgado and Martinez are very doable fights but Gamboa is not ranked by the IBF and currently 14th by the WBO where Beltran is ranked 10th. So a fight vs Beltran would've put him up in the ranks to face Martinez. If he doesn't clean 130 out he should finally fight Juanma or Diego Magdaleno (altho Id hate this fight as a fan of both).

What would've happened if Gamboa migrated earlier?
